I need to open a coke clock like this one to put the second hand back on. Do you think it would help to heat up the tab (maybe w a hair dryer) before I try bending it to the open position?

The replacement face was purchased from an ebay seller called killerdecalstore. The cord, bezel, and back cover are from petrorelics.com. The bulb is a standard FC8T9 you can get on amazon or most hardware stores.

Very informative. Where do you buy the replacement starter?
