I just love Florida in the Winter; its not cold and its not hot...temperature is just right! We usually end up in Disney it seems lol but there are so many things I didn't know about that I'm hoping to try after watching your videos :-)!
It looks so peaceful out there! I love the bridges, now once the bridges are gone that's when I get scared lol. Plus I hate bugs but I want to get out more in nature so I guess I need to overcome that. Not a fan of hiking but my New Year's Resolution is to be more active so I'm open to trying it. Amazing video as always!!!! :-)
LaShay!! :) It was such a peaceful trail! lol... I hate bugs too...especially mosquitoes! That's why I prefer doing all of this during the winter. So, you'll see a few more wilderness videos during this time from me. I think hiking is a great way to get out and exercise but, then again - so is going to the theme parks! I think any way that gets you to 10K steps a day without really noticing it is totally worth it! :)
Bugs are minimal.. I didn’t feel one mosquito. I just walked it today barefoot carrying my 2 year old. Has many tree roots you can trip on so be careful. I saw 2 gators… it was a pretty hike.
I and my friend just achieved it. We came from Europe to explore Florida, especially their wild environment. We met few babies alligators, one mature alligator in the water. However most dangerous animal was wild hog. In the half our trail we saw hog with babies in safe distance and then on our way just behind tree another hog. We didn't know how dangerous is it so we decided to just go in normal speed next to him. We was fine but was bit scary.
Hi hon! There is an overlook in Clermont called Green Mountain Trail. We haven't had the chance to do it yet..but it's on the list for this year! :) Not too many mosquitoes in the winter - which is why I love doing it during this time of year. But, I would bring bug spray just in case anyway!
Very cool. I have a trail cam I set up in a different location every Saturday at the Black Bear Wilderness Area. I post my findings so be sure to check my TRAIL CAM CHRONICLES. And I completely agree, this is a very cool place.
Hey everyone! What are some of your favorite winter activities in Florida? I love hiking and going to the springs to see the manatees!

Should I buy bear spray to walk the 7 mile loop?
Very pretty. Are there any lookouts in Orlando area you would recommend? Also did you have a lot of mosquitoes?

Is it safe to bring your dog? You mentioned gators.
I think so, as long as they're leased. We saw plenty of other dogs on the trail with us that day.
why does every trail in Florida look EXACTLY THE SAME
Clockwise rules!
