So many positive comments on this one. I bought one last year but the battery died completely a week later and I can't blame the seller. It's been staying on my drawer as I was wondering why did I waste £60 on this old thing. With these comments in mind, though, I might get the battery replaced after all. I've never had an iphone before but this is the best looking phone in general imo.
I use it as my main phone. I have to say, he's not bad at all. And its size is perfect for one-handed use. Updated: guys, I haven't used iPhone SE for a long time, I bought myself an iPhone XS
Ergonomic it’s everything in day to day use and this phone was well designed. So it did not easily slip from the hand and yep easy to type one hand with just your thumb.
@@j_james_01 Actually not a terrible phone as even 6 years later mine still works and I still use it as a backup. Still haven't replaced the battery yet too. iPhone 12 and I almost always carry a charger with me or I have anxiety attacks. My phone lasts a few hours of constant use and I need it on for the 16 hours that I’m up in a day (maybe 12 screen hours) I charge it from under 20% to 100% at least 3 times a day if I’m near a charger. It really doesn’t last long. Ofc I can use it fleetingly and make it last a day but a phone is not just for phone calls. (I’m writing this because the guy mentioned that he is not accustomed to having to charge modern iPhones during the day)
I had one before swapping it for an iphone 8. It was a pretty good phone honestly. But the camera app and a few other apps would black screen for a few minutes before opening. It was weird and I thought it to be a glitch the first few times. Then it began happening everytime I opened the camera app. I absolutely loved the pocketability of the phone. I’d sometimes forget it was in my pocket. When I moved to the iphone 8, I appreciated the larger screen but I did really love that small form factor.
I had an iPhone 5 about 4 years ago as my daily, I was so comfortable with the small screen but when I got an iPhone 11 and I tried using an iPhone 5 and also my 6th gen iPod touch it felt weird and hard to use. The iPhone SE 1st gen is still a good phone to use, and it’s the only iPhone with a 4 inch screen that can still be used in the US with cellular since it has VoLTE unlike the iPhone 5,5c, and 5s
I only got rid of mine in mid 2024. Had replaced the battery of course. Loved that phone. Fits anywhere, has mini-jack for auudio. I would still be using it but some web pages won't load properly: you can't click on buttons that are somewhere off the edge of your screen. I keep it around for photos and audio and other stuff.
I have the SE3 and I absolutely LOVE IT my battery charges to 100% in 25 mins and lasts all day it is a mixture between an older but still new modern look with IOS17.1 and the same chip that powers the iPhone 14 and 13 I love this phone and I couldn’t be happier
I’m still using a 2016 iPhone 8. I’ve never broken the screen and only replaced the battery for good measure. Otherwise, everything works fine and updates and supports everything as far as I need. It’s not too big or heavy and internet, LTE or wifi it’s still fast. Faster then my gf’s newer Android and my friends newer phones as well. I got one used with a new battery a month ago and it's amazing honestly. Would leave my pixel at home if the SE supported eSIM, if I want to use it outside then I need to have another phone sharing a hotspot which is a bit annoying. Use it as an 128GB iPod, has most of my music library which saves lots of space on my main phone.

Perfect phone for detoxing. I bought one as a secondary phone to use as an iPod and a point and shoot camera. With less stuff to handle, the battery life is almost decent.
I literally have an iPhone 14 and I’m using the SE significantly more, I replaced the battery and get solid screen time, even got a battery that has a supposedly increased capacity
i actually used this in 2023 too when i sold my iPhone 8 Plus,,, if it wasn’t for the poor battery life and only 16GB , it would be actually so useful today
