It's like the F-18 was designed to be painted in this color scheme. Just a beautiful, beautiful aircraft. Fly Navy! Love the powerslide by #4 on the takeoff.
Your videos are great! Please keep ‘em coming. It helps those us who haven’t been back to El Centro in awhile, keep the memories from growing too old. 😎👍🏻 Thanks!!
I remember way back when people used to shit on the F-18 Hornet and Super Hornet because it wasn't the F-14. But it seems now that people understand its capabilities and respect it a lot more. Always loved the F-18 and always will be my favorite fighter.
Hi Spencer. Great to see you are there catching these wonderful shots. I continue to be amazed at your camera’s ability to capture the gorgeous blue and yellow paint jobs in such brilliance. That takeoff where they launched one by one was curious. Never seen it before. Any idea as to the purpose? Thanks! 👍👍👍
Spencer you have to at least get Mike in the shot. It’s amazing being under the diamond when they take off over you. You definitely have great equipment. Do you know when the thunderbirds are coming. Great job
hey spencer on the 2 and 6 jet from the side you can see under the jets like little white smoke is that what causes smoke trails on the jets and great video
The little white smoke you are describing comes from the engine oil breather vent. Its caused by the small amount of oil that leaks past the carbon seals on the main compressor/turbine shafts bearings. That's typical for almost all turbine engines. The smoke that the pilots can turn on & off is a totally seperate system that's specifically installed on BA aircraft.
We know the Navy has been trying to get rid of the spectators for a while. Please leave us alone. We love the jets as much as you. We are outside of the fence. Come join us and you’ll understand why we are there. I come to EC and spend big money in town to watch the team every year. Leave it
MrDamasterofall, can the spectators be on base like the Practice Days in Pensacola? I think that would help with your and the Navy's concerns. If they can't be on base, can you put it in action and get it done, create Practice Days at El Centro at least in February-March Air Show there?
Absolutely breath taking videography, once again you prove your the Top Gun of aviation filming. 👍👍👍

Always enjoy your unique ending shots, great pick up of the windmills! Beautiful footage as always! Those side view take off and landings especially!

BLUE ANGES LOVE THE ANGELS WINTER TRAINING DEMO THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE ALWAYS PLEASE!!
Fantastic sound's and footage 😺🖖
Awesome how they use burner on the right engine, to keep the smoke trailing.

Amazing! What days of the week are they training in El Centro as we are in the area and would love to experience first hand!
Everyday. Just not on Sundays. There are no posted practice schedules in regards to times and what days they start going over the field.

WOULD THIIS BE WINTER TRAINING ?
What airport is this
Wait those are super hornets! How long have they had those instead of the legacy ones? Has it been years?
2021 was the first year.
Hey I’m a controller at el Centro tower, we don’t like that group of trucks sitting off our approach ends (joking but serious)
