Just decided to learn piano and bought this one, I hope I made the right call. Played when I was 7 years old but I don't remember anything at all.
As a beginner, this is not bad at all. Don't know whether you made the right call, but you didn't make a wrong call either. Hope this helps.
@@Fluedix I'm pretty happy with it
@@adamopinheiro I'm happy for you! I'm no beginner, but this was one of my considerations when I was looking for a digital piano recently. I ended up going for the Roland RP501R and I'm very happy with that.
@@Andras_Schiff Have been playing for a couple of months and really enjoying it
Haox I just got this one myself and I love it !!
Imma get it for my fourteenth bday...i guess :)
Máquina...tenho um e é maravilhoso!!!
One issue I've found. When layering 2 voices, you cannot adjust the volume for individual voices - so have, say, main volume on piano and low volume on strings underneath. They're both gonna be on main volume.
It looks there's a way to do it using the Casio's mobile app, in the 'Remote controller' section. There is 'Layering two tones' function, where you can adjust volume balance between main tone and layered tone. Press + button to make main tone louder.
Man that's a lot of nice sounding pianos inside.
The piece he played to demonstrate the accompaniment function reminded me of Bob Seager “Against The Wind”. 😁
How does Casio CDP-S350 compare to CDP-220R, CDP-230R?
Those hammond's organ sounds amaizing
I'm thinking to replace my heavy motif es6 with this for bread and butter sounds live gigging . Thoughts? How does the registration bank work
Could casio cdp s350 except practising be sufficient enough for small stages and bands , having clear sounds when blending also with layer sounds or midi files ??
Need a comparison Video Between Yamaha PSR E373 & Casio CTX 870 IN, Please make a video, or if you/somebody has it provide a link!
Everythings fine about that piano but- why only small jack headphone output , not any line one?. Shame on you Casio!!
The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is the loud action when the key returns.
Visited the store and they did not have a cord so I could hear the keyboard.
Can you use it as midi controller ?
Yes, every keyboard which has USB (to host) is capable of this.
Hello Sir, I am looking forward to buy this piano but it's nearly impossible to compare the sound quality of different instruments because they don't have digital pianos in the store in my city. So I have couple of questions.
Is S350 have better piano sound quality as compare to CDP S150 or same?
Also where Casio CDP S350 stands if we compare it with Yamaha p45 and Yamaha P125 in terms of built and sound quality.
I might make my purchase based of your reply. Thanks for your time :)
He didn’t reply :(
@@fatpatato4554 He didn't reply but I got the answer I was looking for.. Do you have the same question??
@@ayushchandel1228 naaa not really. I found a different keyboard that I might try to save up for and maybe buy eventually. The numa compact 2x.
Perhaps you can answer your own question here, for the benefit of ppl with similar question
@@wheelfree Ok so I did my research and found out that this piano is actually modified version of casio arrenger keyboard named ct-x5000.. with Similar voices and sound engine.. Main differences are s350 has 88 fully weighted keys where as ct-x5000 has 61 semi-weighted keys.. there are few more differences but I am going to skip that here..
To answer my question, s350 has definitely better sound as we compare it to s150.. There could be a big argument while comparing piano sound quality of s350 with yamaha p45. but personally I like s350 better but p45 have little better key action..
Overall I didn't liked this piano because when I heard it next to next with Yamaha p125 and casio privia px-s1000, I lost my interest on this instrument.. but i will strongly suggest this instrument over casio s150 and yamaha p45.. also before you buy this, you should know that casio privia px-s3000 also exist in the market.. check it out..
i have this keyboard......
Is it any good at all? How is the action I’m curious since this is one of the keyboards I might buy
Tell me your opinion about the sound please
cdp s350 as controller midi can use keyscape software????
Yes you can
To clarify, it has a usb port to hook up to the computer and yes you can use keyscape with it. I have been using my S350 with keyscape to great effect.
@@sammikinsderp thank you
This vs the Roland p30?
Roland fp30/fp30x has a better sound quality.
Is this keyboard touch sensitive?
Yes, certainly. BTW, if you see a the action described as "weighted" or "scaled-hammer" or something similar it means that not only are the keys made to feel like an acoustic piano, they are most definitely touch sensitive.
@@apianogallery oh okay thanks for your reply😊
Is it better than Casio pxs1000?
it's a different beast really.. the psx is just a piano and a handful or other tones
the CDP-S350 has 700 tones 16 acoustic pianos ( just piano), tons of other sounds, drum kit's arranger features and personally looks to have a better user interface and a proper display to let you know what's going on.
depends on YOUR needs.. only need a piano?.... psx is a good option
@@cresshead cdp s350 as controller midi can use keyscape software????
@@johnnylong2023 yes.
This is an arranger the psx1000 is a piano
Lot of gas bagging !!! Play the damn thing .
