There is still big-time competition between LANL and LLNL, reaching back to Teller's betrayal. At Los Alamos, Teller was a lone wolf, but Oppie has remained a legend. The disliking of Teller goes so far that people use "Teller" as an insult when you misbehave in Los Alamos :)

When will we all be driving Hydrogen Cars??
It takes electricity to produce H2 ie molecular hydrogen from water! So EVs are much more basic! I agree that we need to produce better EV batteries
