- Dzukou Valley trek had been growing in popularity among trekkers and nature enthusiasts. It's renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, diverse flora, and pleasant climate.
The common routes to reach the valley starts from Viswema Village and Zakhama Village .
The choice between Zakhama and Viswema as a starting point for your trek to Dzukou Valley depends on personal preferences and current conditions. Zakhama is a bit closer to the valley, offering a shorter trek, but Viswema is a common starting point for many trekkers ( Zakhama route is more steep and you got to have a little trek experience) . Both routes have their own unique scenic attractions.

And one more thing to be noted while trekking for dzükou is that
Guide is necessary , just incase anything happens on the way for eg get sick or get lost .. only the locals out there will be the one to take travle to find you guys or help u guys come down

Exactly. If something happens, then there will be no one to inform people down at the foot of the hill. Last time also, one RUclipsr along with his friends trekked to Dzoukou. While coming back it was already dark. They got seperated into two groups. Luckily the first group was with a guide. They reached the foot of the hill. But other friends still didn't reach. They got worried and finally decided to hire some locals to search for their friends. Guide gathered some locals and went back up to search for the lost friends. After sometime they came back. Those friends said that they lost their way. If locals and guide wasn't there, then they might've to wait till morning for people to come and find them
Is April a good month to visit and is it cold during April?
Yes of course,ppl mostly visit from April to September and it’s not that cold but still if you are coming from plans than should prepare for cold as well

Is 6k enough if we travel by self like u did?
@@Anurag-vt9xp yeah 6k will be enough for an individual but the taxi fare will be high from Dimapur to starting point it’s like 1500 per cab ,I suggest go with the group so u can split the taxi expenses
