      Thank you! I really enjoy giving context if the place itself is interesting. She was told by her insurance firm not to show any of the jewelry...seems besides the point, given that her sign says "Jewelry"

    @32:00 We used to make those flowers by dipping twisted wire into a commercial concoction then putting the petals and leaves together.

      Oh yes, there was an outfit in Seattle called Fiberlay back then that made those kits! You could even make big dressing screens if you had the frames

    Love this little town!! One of the best places in Florida, IMHO. Had the pleasure of seeing the cameo collection that you couldn't show. It's amazing!!! Loved all the antique places they have there.

    I found some of my 40 year old son’s Boy Scout patches and sewed them on the sleeve of a jacket. Looks cool and I am looking for more patches.

      I love those chairs, I find them in Florida but not as often as I used to do! I hope to represent indian bead bowls like that at some point, I've had many other Native American designs but not those

    I found a Robert eicholt glass paperweight in the wild and a Richard satava paperweight in the wild too. One was 8 and the other was 4. They are so pretty 🙂

      I was surprised that I found the Satava paperweight at a Goodwill and that it didn't look like someone threw it at a wall. The inside is a reef it's so pretty.

    I would love to see old Florida. Tell me where are other places as I have to come to Florida once a year. I hate the area around Ft Lauderdale….not big on strip malls for soooo many miles. Probably have offended Floridians, but I am 76 and still is what I have seen. Met some great people and found wonderful bargains donated by Northerners after they moved south.

      Is it still there? I'd like to see that! The Bubble Room about 1.5 hours south on Gasparilla Island has some up all year, it's lavishly vintagely decorated

      I look forward to you getting to go! I don't remember as a child that ANY kid I knew didn't get the joke that Pepe LePew was repugnant because of his behavior. Sadly, I know a lot of women who have been mistreated by aggressive men...not one of them cited a cartoon skunk as the source of the problem.

      @@TheAntiqueNomad Sadly, I just got an email. Because of State Restrictions, at least fourteen fields decided not to open so far. I have been shopping for almost two years come September to have an awesome display there. My house is becoming a hoard, although many things are clean and in boxes...lol

    Does Capodiamonte(sp.) have a repairs source?

      Not that I know specifically, I've heard of people taking them to a good porcelain restorer but the important thing is whether they can match the colors correctly...ask for references and view finished repairs before you decide, it's not inexpensive
