well if your going to fall off a wall what better place to do it than an air show with the sea king already on rout, hope they were alright, at least they got to fly in the helicopter,
It's an RAF Sea King from A Flight 22 Suadron ,based at the former RAF Chivenor, now RMB Chivenor in North Devon, I was born and bred in a coastal town in North Devon and used to frequently see these fantastic helo's
Notice on these videos the air ambulances very much take their time with them landing and takeoff. The former RAF and Navy SAR were in and out no messing about
No, it wasn't. The patients were most accessible by sea or air, and a sea rescue would probably have ended with a transfer to a helicopter. Given that the helicopter was at hand, this actually makes the most sense.
Some people will do anything to get a ride in a helicopter! Very glad to know they were not seriously injured.
Great footage.There was nothing like this on Westcountry News,they would have loved it!
Well that is literally the coolest thing i have ever seen.
That pilot has some skill, lift off perfect.
Hey was lucky the chopper did not sink

Red and white = coastguard
Yellow = RAF
Red and Grey = Royal Navy
It literally says RAF on the side.
It is a little bit overkill.
