The doctrine of judicial review originated and developed in the USA. It was propounded for the first time in the famous case of Marbury V. Madison (1803) by John Marshall, the then chief justice of the American Supreme Court.
It will solve long held collegium system debate.However,appointment process for higher judiciary should be experience basis after certain period of time by re-examination.
This AIJS has nothing to do with collegium. AIJS focuses only on district court and not Higher judiciary.

AIJS will fail , and it won't work .
Reason being , Court at grassroots level works in state language,
Maharastra works in Marathi , Telangana in Telgu , Gujarat in Gujarati , Punjab in Punjabi , Karanataka in Kannada and other South Indians in their languages respectively .
Therefore you can't appoint a judge who doesn't know the language.
No need for AIJS.
Judiciary is working somewhat perfectly and unhindered .

@@tron6121 Either way there's no better mechanism yet, Judges are after all confirmed and suggested by the Govt. They're in cahoots with them and this is why you'll hardly see any significant judgement against the Govt. But for lower judiciary, Govt can't control them and this is what irks them.

There must be Indian Political Service (IPolS) too.
ALJS will bring disaster only. Think about the serious repercussions.
Suppose a student clears ALJS exam and become a District Judge at the age of 24, he has a senior advocate with 50 years of experience in front of him/her arguing a civil matter. Do you really think, that 24 year old District Judge will have that capabilities to give proper judgement. It will be easy for the experienced advocate to confuse him and to take judgement of his own thought.

I agree with this but what about the extreme power used by district judges and often seen in that some of the judges misusing power in the court room I have experienced. First l feel the very bad experience in the police station but later when I went to court in the same case, I experienced a very bad behaviour of a senior lawyer and when I objected the district judge was just silent on that objection and rudely behaved to me unnecessarily.

This cannot be done ,yhe independence of judiciary will be challenged. Also evey state proceedings are done vernacular language unlike high courts. It will be very tough for judges understand local language, conditions, culture etc. This should not be brought.
