Hi Sam, Appreciate you trying us out, just so you are aware we don't make the filters to improve intake sound, its more about flow and filtration :) On some cars there is a noticable difference but in general the largest benefit you gain is from the filter being a lifetime filter, meaning that once youv'e had it for a few years you've actually saved on replacing the paper filter every service!
I come from the cupra mk1 hot hatch days, nothing beats a smoothed and drilled airbox with a performance panel filter. Noise and it's virtually a free mod. No extra hot air from engine bay etc and same noise as an open cone. Hate me or not it is proven to work better than aftermarket cone filters
Hi, you buy a performance filter for the smoother acceration, maybe a few bhp too as a bonus mate, as it doesn't restrict airflow as much as a standard paper filter. The 'funky' smell is the oil you occasionally need to apply to catch dirt particles that come in the filter, to stop it going into the engine. Plus, these last a lifetime, but at £20 every service you soon get your money & some if maintained regularly. 👍
Some cars it actually makes a big difference, in noise, performance, economy and throttle response. It does for my BMW G30 520i anyways. On my BMW 116d 1.5 it made the car run rough, it improved throttle response but it wasn’t worth it for that car. It comes down to how your standard air box is designed.
You’re suppose to clean the box when taking the old filter out not leaving all the dirty shit in there for the new one. Also what kind of difference did you think an air filter would make to a m235i.... it adds maximum 5bhp it wouldn’t even be noticeable in a corsa.
Hi Sam, Just wondering if you can point me in the right direction on an old Fiesta post you posted. I've got the aftermarket DRL units for my ZS and fitted them as you have, I can't see which wire you connect the white DRL wire to in the back of the stock light unit?

He is young and does not understand the task
Literally the best video on RUclips! No BS, don't waste £30 on a filter!

Not seen a video for a while pal, thanks for posting.

Don't know why you think a panel filter would make a noise difference. There is a reason why a proper intake system costs 300-400 quid.
Panel filters have made a noticeable noise difference on many different cars I have seen which is why I was expecting a little noise
@@sammalseed8764 cone filters make noise not panel filters.
The lack of knowledge here is so strong
Do your research first, they're all a waste of time, some lose power.
