I was 16, from The Netherlands and discovered grime around 2008-2009 ish. I felt extremely sad because even though it became my go to genre of music.. Grime kinda died out around these times. Then i met some guys from 0121 via Xbox Online, and they knew Sox, Webster and all of them guys as they where friends. They kept sending my links every single day for years with the sickest sets, birthday bashes, grimesheds etc, and I absolutely fell in love with Grime all over again. The Midlands where absolutely running the ENTIRE GAME shelling down sets daily. Anyhow the moral of my story is.. having listened thousands of hours to setsz freestyles and tunes Sox without doubt became my all time GOAT Grime artist of all time alongside Ghetts. We need all these sets back again and emcees shelling down all over RUclips because they are the only ones who can bring Grime back to the forefront and make it poppin again. Drill is trash. Thanks for this interview and Sox thanks for all the memories man! Your music really helped me through some rough times. For me one of the reasons sox is in my top 3 grime MC’s is because his flow and voice are so unique and he offers something different to the London MC’s. Love sox, heard a lot over the decade which I won't mention about paths his life took and things he's been up to, whilst doing music bits here and there but being back on music is 100% a positive move for him, legend in the scene, mad MC one of the best to do it
