Serj was the vocalist of System Of A Down , known for his unconventional style, distinct voice, and willingness to create controversy if it serves a cause. Hes Armenian American, and Armenia has suffered a lot. When someone wants to commit genocide, the first target is always the kids. They're the softest target, and the most vulnerable. If you lose your children you lose hope, you lose the future. On one reaction to this someone commented they couldn't take any more politics. Targeting children isn't politics. They didn't do anything to deserve it. Its evil. Its murder of the worst kind. Hats off to Serj and the Cost, for creating a song thats as strong in message as it is musically and making a difference. Theres a fundraiser attached to the song (Save The Children is the organization) and if you feel moved, think about donating. I did, it just felt right. Great reaction!

I really like that the Cost isn't afraid of exploring various themes and moods with their amazing artistry. While all three songs have been quite different they all have the Cost's style running through them. This one had a deep visual message that combines disturbing war imagery with warm pictures of fun and love. They lyrics? I'm still figuring those out! Regardless it's a powerful song.

Really honest reaction to what is a song with so much to tell within 4:44. The imagery stitched into those vocals giving us that in depth look to those living life and those living in death. We should focus on how the brutality kills our children from 0 upwards. So Brutal. Thanks for sharing such a music moment ❤
First of all, I agree that they have elevated their game. The musicality on this one is terrific. I am going to have to think some more about the lyrics. At first listen, I get a "hopelessness of war" feeling. But, it could also be a "hoplessness of life itself" in its current iteration, and that is enormously dejecting.
Hopelessness of war or the futility. The destruction of the children on all sides by all sides. It is war that must end. There must me another way for those in power, disposed to violence, bullying, avarice, brutality and anything else to gain more power to do it their way, shameful.

I don't know the Cost, but I'm here for Serj Tankian anyway. He's a legend and my favorite vocalist of all time, and he did a fabolous job on this track, so mellow, and suddenly he growls like in his best days.
