You’re a smart man. I do the same thing in my m3 with regards to shifting early haha. It’s much less stress on the trans/drivetrain and engine and turbo etc. you are absolutely correct. Also when you do rip it to redline it makes it feel even more special. I also rarely run 1st gear out either as that’s a ton of transmission wear as launches are in general. Good to see another level headed car owner out there!
Do the same thing in my quadrifoglio. Being 24, it's my first car with real power and it's crazy how even in 5th, it just gets up and goes. Don't need to floor it to go fast.

I have same car. I put downpipes and a jb4 tune. Charge pipes, meth intake and sprint booster. I have no idea how much hp its pushing.. But it sure is fun!!!

Sick m6 bro. Just chill on that 800 unless you ready for a rebuild for the motor. Our s63 motors rods give out past 700hp so its a matter of time. Not trying to have you grenade the engine bro just keep that in mind and prep for forged parts if you plan on pushing big power. Best of luck bro

As long as the car is completely warmed up it wants to be maxed out every gear if your limiter has ignition cut especially with boost that engine gotta breath can’t be babying it.

It's easily possible to put more wear on an engine at 2000 RPM than 6000. More RPM doesn't necessarily mean more damage, you can lug your engine at a low RPM and put massive strain on your drivetrain

stage 1 adds "up to" 16%HP. the sport displays on iDrive dont indicate how much power your car has, lol. anyone with basic tuning can change that to say whatever random number. nice car though.
Right and I would have assumed my car had less then 800 even though it was showing that but when I hit top of RPM the Gauge that displays 800 maxes all the way to 800 so wouldn't that mean it has 800 crank hp ? its not just showing 800 its hitting it. and thank you.
@@jaywhips well no. you are reaching 100% of the graph, but the label is arbitrary. I can code your car to say 1000, and you'll still be using 100% of your power, but that doesnt mean it magically makes 1000hp.
even bootmod3 says it on the website, stage 1 upto 16%, your car isnt "special" where it makes more than others.
So your car is an m6, around 550hp, add 16%, thats 636hp IF, you'r HPFP, injectors, spark plugs are top notch.
@@F85-w6g okok I see what your saying so shit maybe it is stage 2 cause when I go under my maps on the app it shows the stock map and then a stage 2 93 map. The stage one map is under a different page.

Engine is holding up great. Couple technical issues but no major issues.

Has a little issue with the RPM jumping on cold start but other than that no issues !
