Hi Colleen! Not to be a party pooper but PLEASE MONITOR that crane toy. My son got it last year for Christmas, and shortly after we set it up we smelled something burning and it must have shorted out and MELTED THE PLASTIC AND BATTERIES where the batteries go. I’m assuming we just got a faulty one, but just to be safe, just be mindful and careful with it.
Flynn is so smart!! He said he calls those rocks “fire dog rocks” and Colleen said the actual name is “Dalmatian Jasper”… Dalmatians are usually depicted as fire fighter dogs!

Colleen, your chicken egg shells are harder and your yolks are probably darker yellow than store bought because your chickens have a wonderful environment to thrive in with the right nutrients. Mass produced eggs come from chickens that don’t go outside or have proper nutrition!

If you use butter instead of oil and milk instead of water it makes a much tastier and better textured cake. Putting whole eggs instead of egg whites is fine. It will just make the colour darker and you could use just 2 eggs instead of 4.

I saw a meme/tweet about how one day bird watching creeps up on you and as a 34 year I have to say it's 100% the truth for me. I sat on my back porch using that app for a few hours with my husband one evening and it was ridiculous how much I really enjoyed it lol. If I could get hummingbirds in my backyard I'd probably never go back inside my house lol.

It is just loads of really nice affirmations which it uses to tell a story about how it is okay to be scared and ask for help and 'the strongest thing to ever say is help' and is perfect to read to children or purely for your self, i just thought it was the sort of thing that you would like. also, always remember that, even if you don't know or see it, people will always love you and be there for you.
