The house looks amazing. I love the black bar cabinet. It’s so beautiful. Especially, I loved the ending. Salute to you and Cameron for walking away and not excusing the issue. More of us need to do this when this happens and not stick around to prove that we can actually afford to be in there.

We need to make an habit of getting consumer affairs involved in situations like this. It just going to keep happening but we still have to do our part. Glad you didn't spend your money there and reached out to the company

Hi! Same thing happened to me at a luxury car dealership, same exact thing! They were sick when they realized it would have been a cash sale! Sad but true it’s still happening today!

I’m so sorry that happened to you at that dealership! Unfortunately that still happens no matter where you live. It happened to me while living in NJ at the BMW dealership and again in Texas at the Lexus showroom. It’s sad when you save to make a major purchase and you are constantly treated as invisible. Cars, homes, etc, people of color just are not valued as a customer.

That happened to me 1 time before too. At the car dealership. I went in... stayed approx 20 mins was never greeted at all. This was a Jeep dealership. I left and ended up purchasing a Jeep from a small town dealership.

The story about the car dealership has also happened to me... The dealership I was at was Range Rover and they did not care to give me attention at all.. I spoke to a specific guy about a car and he did not care to help us at all.. even told me to go else where at a certain point, long story short I bought the car via phone with another sales guy that cared to help however I regretted getting the car because throughout my time with the car the customer service was terrible.. I felt like most people there kind of judged us.. Hope everything works out with you and your car experience !!

It's no excuse for someone not coming up to you, but that's pretty much how Audi works no matter who you are. Unless you make an appointment to see someone or ask the front desk to get a sales person to help you they don't approach you. They will make themselves seen, but they will not approach you unless you make it known to someone that you want to speak to someone on the sales team. I know this from when I used to lease Audis.

Erin I’m so sorry for your experience. The exact same thing happened to me at Mercedes. They ignored me as if I wasn’t there to make a purchase. I ended up leaving smh it’s so sad being Black in America.

I went to a dealership about 20 years ago, looked around for a few minutes and then the salesman comes up and tells me they didn't have any cars under $10,000. I never even told him what my budget was but it was well over $10,000. I left and bought a car elsewhere.
