I started sharing more about myself in my business because I knows people support my business because they connect with me and not just because they like my products. It was very scary at first but I knew it was important for me to do.

I have never really cared about my personal brand as far as social media or how I present myself because I feel that posting on social media whether instagram, tik tok, or Facebook is exhausting. I have never thought about my personal brand this way, or even I had a personal brand to begin with. Ugh, now I am gonna have to rethink this. Thank you Erin.

This video has been in my "watch later" for foreverrrr. Since like last summer, and man.. when I say I watched this right on time!! I had been struggling with this for a while because so many people, especially in the YT world, make it seem like you have to do things in such a particular wayyyy. Overtime I felt like I was putting myself in a box - on top of the fact that doing things those ways weren't doing anything for my platform/channel and ESPECIALLY not for me. After over a year on YT at 85 subs, I'm just now getting to a place where I've realized some of the things you've said and have been being more just myself, but even still I've been feeling like I shouldn't be doing it this way. But this video and your words just affirmed my prayers that I need to keep doing what I'm doing. I just want to be and embody me. And the fact that I can is amazing. Yeah please do more of these kind of videos. I’ve been struggling with my personal brand; trying to grow on RUclips and trying to connect more with followers on Instagram, but it’s been very hard. But after watching this, I think I’ve been missing a lot out of the big picture.
So helpful thank you! I resonate with all this I am a photographer and just left my 9 to 5 job to stay at home with the kids focus on my photography business and I’m working on getting my real estate license now as well. It can be hard because I used to feel and still do feel majority of the photography industry is male dominated. I’m girly I like styling, I like my nails and I’m always with my kids. Embodying who I am and showing up as my true self had been a work in progress.

This info is everything! I feel like I need to sow a seed! Seriously thank you. And it's not that I didn't know some of this, but just hearing it gave me the ease to actually do it this way. I try to be authentic as possible however I do feel myself at times trying to over promote myself or say "see me" in a sense versus just being. Thank you for these nuggets of confirmation. I share my story as a former shopaholic who now spends better (not a financial expert) who allowed God to fill the voids, and still invest in quality clothes, shoes and items wisely. Hence the name Heeled and Healing.

I tried a new nail shape a few days ago to promote a glow colored acrylic we just dropped for Halloween and I literally fell in love with the shape 😂 i was so happy about it ..I told everyone lol but i say all this to say.. I have been really lost when it comes to a lot of things about my business and branding. Not knowing what content to make etc. I didn’t even know what exactly to search so I searched your name and branding… this video popped up first and I was so happy .. I contemplated taking a nap sulking in my anxiety and confusion but instead I made the decision to write out all my questions and stuff on my mind, THEN go find answers… this video was everything I needed and KNEW but couldn’t put it all together. I look forward to making the necessary decisions to grow my Personal Brand. I took the nail tidbit as a sign of confirmation for me.
