Also, for some reason, my display's progress bar is stuck at zero, as is "remaining print time". Does anyone know a solution? Chrome is blocking the display dwin download from downgit via the github link. Is this a common problem with github files or just chrome being an overprotective browser?
IDK if this a too late of a reply but you have to temporarily disable the safe browsing feature. 3 dots upper right hand corner of browser --> Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Security --> Safe Browsing --> No protection. Just be sure to change it back afterwards if you want.

Hello Dear Friend ! I have to ask you. if you can help me solve the problem that arose after replacing the motherboard on my 3d printer, in particular, the problem is: my old motherboard stopped working, it went bad and I bought a new Creality 4.2.2. this device has a processor with the number (in this order it is written): GD32F303 RET6 AUJO484 AZ2219 GIGADEVICE ARM I connected very correctly and carefully all the wires and turned it on after connecting. I checked and made test movements of the carriage and hot end, everything works well in this case, Z works well too, auto return home also works well, the mechanics are good. but as soon as I want to print something >>> only X and Y axis work well, Z does not work , does not rise up during printing, although the filament arrives and is printed on one layer, I do not understand and do not know how to fix this problem, the warranty period has passed because I have not been at home for a long time and the seller does not return it back.If you can help, or suggest where to look for a way out of this difficult situation, please help, I'm not strong in computers and programming so that I can flash "it" myself, that's why I turned to you with this request! I look forward to good news from you. BEST REGARDS, GEORGE!
Hello Dear friend, 1) Check when you control your Z axis whether it moves accurately or not(up and down via screen)? 2) Check the Z axis connector that is connected to the motherboard, make sure it is not loose or break! 3) If that JST connector is broken then change the connector. 4) Have you changed any settings or commands in slicer? If yes then backup your profile and reinstalled slicer or else try another slicer. 5) Check the Z axis sensor. may sensor get damaged after long run use. 6) If still has an issue then install default Creality firmware from their official website and try again. Try it and let me know. BEST REGARDS, Siddhesh
Im doing everything step by step but my screen doesnt show anything at all. Did the screen update 1st got the orange screen on. Did the mobo upgrade and nothing plz help.
👋 Hello, did you manage to resolve this issue? Initially I followed two tutorials to install the Mriscoc firmware, this one and BV3D, but I encountered the same issue as you. The screen dimmed in brightness but remained blank. Failing to display the boot up "CREALITY LOGO". BV3d: ruclips.net/video/pxBGBjLC2rk/видео.html SOLUTION: To fix this problem I checked the mriscoc wiki and found a small but critical instruction at #3. In the uSD Card root, rename the file. I made mine "MRIS1.bin" and reloaded the card into the printer. This resolved the issue but erased the _new mriscoc_ screen firmware which I had successfully updated during my first attempt. Keep a record of whatever names you use for loaded firmware, if you ever intend to change it, the names CANNOT match. *Manual installation for Ender3 V2 and S1 with STM32F1 SoC* 1) Insert a blank and MBR, FAT32 and 4096 allocation unit formatted µSD in your PC/Mac 2) Copy the .bin file to the root of the card *3) Ensure that the name of the file was not previously used to update the printer.* *!! If necessary, rename the file !!* 4) Turn off the printer, disconnect any USB cable and insert the µSD card. 5) Turn on the printer, the upgrade firmware process will start automatically. 6) The display will be blank until the upgrade is finished (about 15 seconds). 7) If you are upgrading from the original firmware or other fork, please restore defaults. 8) Make the MPC/PID adjust and put the other calibration parameters github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1/wiki/How-to-install-the-firmware

@@3DELWORLD can i private message you? I encounter some problem on my lcd display. I already follow all the step in your video yet it is not working. When i inserted the sd card it turn the lcd blue and red that indicates the lcd is done uploading. But it doesn't change. Btw i also follow your firmware same on your video. But i used the bltouch
@@brianjaylansigan2054 I just had the same issue. If you have an ender 3 V2 you very likely have a newer version with the DACAI display and will need to use the "private" folder rather than the "DWIN_SET" folder. It will look a little different when installing but it should work for you. You can see the difference in boards at 2:02 in the video. Good luck!
Thank for all the suggestions. I already solved my problem by reading the articles about the new display and i followed the format settings on my sd card and it works perfectly. Thank for the help btw☺️ God bless happy printing
i only saw bl touch options whitch is best for v2 with cr touch ?
I have same question
@@Animalcanam I have CR touch on mine with this firmware and it works fine. CRTouch is basically as I understand it just Creality's version of bltouch and works the same.

I have professional firmware but my screen is not like that. Is there two firwares that are both called professional firmware?
If you have mriscoc firmware then you can download "display asset" files to update your screen.
This step might help 01:52
Link for display asset: github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1/tree/Ender3V2S1-Released/display%20assets
Did I make a mistake? I followed this to a T but I don't have the "Advanced" menu. Where it should be, it only says "Leveling" and it does it on its own, it won't even let me adjust any settings. In other words I basically have the new look, but only the limited stock options. None of the advanced features this firmware has.
Maybe your display asset Installed correctly but firmware is not. try again. but first check motherboard & screen model. : github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1
What is rabbit? 😐 In the ender 3v2 screen
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have successfully installed the firmware. I was not successful with the Gcode preview though. I am using cure 5.2.1 if you can please make a video for the preview Gcode that would be great 😊 I have read the pinned comment and I tried that script as well but I am not getting the preview. 🙏
Glad it helped! and yes I am working on it👍
Downloaded the new firmware but I am getting a warning for malware when trying to download the "Display Assets". What is that all about? Do you need to have the new display assets for the firmware to work?
It doesn't have any virus you can download it.

Glad it helped ❤, If you have any issue you can find it in "Issues Tab" or "Discussions tab" might help. have nice day sir ❤
This happened to me with my Ender 3 V2 Neo. In the instructions it appeared that I was supposed to have the Ender 3V2 DWIN display. After further inspection, I found out that me machine actually came with the Ender 3S1 DACAI display. I downloaded the display firmware in the folder called "Private" and it worked perfectly...black screen and them confirmation of the new firmware loaded. Note: when you download the folder named "Private", just copy and past it onto your SD card just as it is. Don't take anything out of the folder and leave the folder name as "Private".

You have to check your board first mate.

Hello and thank you for your video. I have tried to follow your video to the letter but am still having a very hard time. I have an Ender 3 S1. I did all of the steps but the four icons will not show up. I get all of the numbers at the bottom but all I see is the Creality logo. I am desperate for help.
Hello, have you format SD card before installing screen driver?
if not then format it and download right display assets for your screen and try it again.
@@3DELWORLD yes I did format the SD card. Would you be willing to write down on here what screen download that I need to do. It is very confusing for me. Do I leave it in the actual folder or just have the .bin on the SD card when I put it into the back plate of the screen.
Will this firmware work if I have the CR Touch and a Sprite Extruder Pro?

Chrome is blocking the display dwin download from downgit via the github link. Is this a common problem with github files or just chrome being an overprotective browser?
IDK if this a too late of a reply but you have to temporarily disable the safe browsing feature. 3 dots upper right hand corner of browser --> Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Security --> Safe Browsing --> No protection. Just be sure to change it back afterwards if you want.

Yes it does

Hello Dear Friend !
I have to ask you. if you can help me solve the problem that arose after replacing the motherboard on my 3d printer, in particular, the problem is: my old motherboard stopped working, it went bad and I bought a new Creality 4.2.2. this device has a processor with the number (in this order it is written):
GD32F303
RET6
AUJO484
AZ2219
GIGADEVICE
ARM
I connected very correctly and carefully all the wires and turned it on after connecting.
BEST REGARDS,
GEORGE!
Hello Dear friend,
1) Check when you control your Z axis whether it moves accurately or not(up and down via screen)?
2) Check the Z axis connector that is connected to the motherboard, make sure it is not loose or break!
3) If that JST connector is broken then change the connector.
4) Have you changed any settings or commands in slicer? If yes then backup your profile and reinstalled slicer or else try another slicer.
5) Check the Z axis sensor. may sensor get damaged after long run use.
6) If still has an issue then install default Creality firmware from their official website and try again.
Try it and let me know.
BEST REGARDS,
Siddhesh

👋 Hello, did you manage to resolve this issue?
Initially I followed two tutorials to install the Mriscoc firmware, this one and BV3D, but I encountered the same issue as you. The screen dimmed in brightness but remained blank. Failing to display the boot up "CREALITY LOGO".
BV3d:
ruclips.net/video/pxBGBjLC2rk/видео.html
SOLUTION:
To fix this problem I checked the mriscoc wiki and found a small but critical instruction at #3.
*Manual installation for Ender3 V2 and S1 with STM32F1 SoC*
1) Insert a blank and MBR, FAT32 and 4096 allocation unit formatted µSD in your PC/Mac
2) Copy the .bin file to the root of the card
*3) Ensure that the name of the file was not previously used to update the printer.*
*!! If necessary, rename the file !!*
4) Turn off the printer, disconnect any USB cable and insert the µSD card.
5) Turn on the printer, the upgrade firmware process will start automatically.
6) The display will be blank until the upgrade is finished (about 15 seconds).
7) If you are upgrading from the original firmware or other fork, please restore defaults.
8) Make the MPC/PID adjust and put the other calibration parameters
