I love how someone made a comment about needing a Master's to be a librarian when I'm watching this video while at my library job 🤣 For the record, you only NEED a Master's if you want to be a library director, the rest of it you can do without schooling as long as you can get your foot in the door somewhere. I have a Bachelor's in a non-library field and no Master's, but I do tech services at my library (which is a fancier way of saying cataloging and collection development - I order the books and put them in the computer so they can be checked out). So to that person who said it was their childhood dream but the Master's degree deterred them: don't give up! There are other things you can do in a library that don't require it! Being a director is more about PR and lobbying local government anyway; the lower positions are actually much more involved in actual library work. 🙂

I'm currently a cataloger and make $32k a year, which I would say is sustainable for me, but still isn't great. I'm able to afford my apartment and groceries and all my bills with a tiny bit leftover, but am I able to save to buy a house? No, absolutely not. I also live in Mississippi, so the cost of living is much lower than other states (and really is the only thing this place has going for it lmao). But the director position at my hometown's library in Michigan came up as open a couple years ago, and the salary was listed as comparable to what I make here, which is WAY under what you should be making with a master's degree. So it really is different basically anywhere you go in the country.

We’re you two standing near each other when zombifying the villagers? I thought whatever social mechanics will make villager say players help them in a radius. (Also iron bars help purify zombie villagers just that bit faster)
He doesn't use mods . He's using a shader called Complementary Reimagined and a client called Lunar Client. I think he has a couple of other texture packs for his totems, fireworks, and chest UI but idk the names of those.
