GUCCI 2024 is Sabato De Sarno the right creative director for Gucci?

Gucci by Stefano De Sarno: will Gucci go back to absolute success like the tim when Tom Ford was the creative Director of the brand.
Also is De Sarno as talented as Alessandro Michele? Pro and cons and differences between Alessandro Michele ex creative director of Gucci and De Sarno, as well as clash with Zara's Fast Fashion Aesthetic. Gucci missed the opportunity to create something really new and captivating, that is not the kind of looks we have already seen in Zara’ s interpretation of Fashion but something that only Gucci can do. In addition i will reveal what i think was missing in the Gucci show by De Sarno.

Thank you for your expert analysis. Overall, I think Sabato De Sarno has done a very good job at Gucci so far. His years of experience show as the clothes are desirable, wearable (sellable, particularly the bags) and show the Italian high octane glamour, sophistication and sexiness of the Gucci brand. The colour burgundy goes with every skin tone and can be used in every season & climate. Wise choice. The celebrities he has chosen to endorse the brand (eg Paul Mescal) are superb and add youth, humour & informality without controversy. A little suggestion that these are unique, investment pieces would soften the blow regarding price.
He managed to walk the tightrope between classic heritage & modern design with great skill & verve.
A couple of points:
1. I think the bras made the models look a little too flat chested & some of the leather jackets made them look too big and square.
2. While I don’t think it would appropriate for the models to grin, I think the odd smile & a wink would be good, particularly with the sexier items.
3. With celebrities at high profile events, he should ensure that the fit is on point. When Emily Blunt wore Gucci to the Oscars, the dress didn’t fit properly at the shoulders. When she was sitting, the shoulders went up too far. The elegant dress on Daisy Edgar Jones made her look a little too flat chested.
4. I think Sabato should relax now & start to produce some more showstopper moments then Gucci will be unbeatable.
