My uncle was due for a meeting in the north tower that day because he was a banker (I think) but his flight was cancelled or delayed or something like that so he narrowly escaped his fate. I remember being in school in the north of ireland and my classroom was the only one with a tv, teachers all came in and put it on and where visibly shocked and i remember seeing the first tower on fire and not knowing what was happening or i didnt know that i was seeing a historic event.
