You are indeed Brave to reveal what most people won’t…. The sad truth is most Americans in the work force feel stressed out, burned out, unhappy and take all this mess home….the hustle and struggle is REAL…..praying one day this will change for U.S. workers…. Underpaid, Overworked and stuck in a toxic work environment 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I love that your starting from the bottom and working your way up. It will help you be a better doctor in the long run because you will have more compassion for us little guys still in the bottom. I've heard a lot of doctors have a superiority complex... New sub here!❤️
Good to see you vlogging again. Can't wait to see your medical school journey. I've been praying for you for the last couple of years every time I watch your videos.
Girl you’re doing amazing! I know this isn’t what you imagined but you are right where God wants you to be. Dr. B is in sight. We are all praying for you and rooting for you. Don’t apologize I know for myself and probably a lot of your other subscribers we missed you but understood you were busy girl. So happy to see you back! Thanks for inspiring recent grads like myself. We got this! 💕💕💕
aww Brelynn!! no need to apologize! I know it may feel like expectations are high especially since you share so much and have so many people rooting for you but it's totally okay to fall back sometimes and figure it all out! This journey you're taking is not easy! however you get there, no matter how long it takes, you will get in to medical school and we will be here to celebrate 🥳 thank you for taking us on this journey with you! It's truly been inspiring🤍
I’m a clinical research coordinator and I think you will love it! You still get some patient interaction and get to learn a lot about what goes on on the background prior to medications/procedures being approved.
Baby sister, we stay proud of you & LOVE YOU DEARLY!!! What I need you to know is that most who go into medical assistant training, have to go through vigorous classes for additional year to 18 months, and then depending on the state guidelines, have to be certified with the state as medical assistant. Sometimes depending if you are a medical assistant that has to have so many sticks ( in terms of phlebotomy/specializations) or if you are a medical assistant with an admin focus. And you literally were able to go into a medical assistant position and a clinic without all of those pieces/hurdles. You have done well. It will get better. It's all seed!! GOD USES EVERYTHING!!!
You’re so inspiring. Im also a MA student and starting my externship at an OB office in July. I also took a gap year, hopefully I’ll be starting back my journey to become an RN in January 🎉
this video hit so close to home...from leaving a job that I was so miserable at to the constant stress from interviews, and especially what you said about not knowing what is worse...working somewhere you don't want to or doing nothing at all. It can all make you feel so small. But I love how positive you remain and how confident you are about your future. I can't wait to watch your journey to becoming a GYN doctor! You're inspiring!
I am currently in school for medical assisting to become a CMA then get my bachelors in nursing. This video resonated with me because i completely understand the anxiety as I previously worked for a mental health clinic that was full of drama and my nerves were shot on a daily basis which made me lose my desire of working in the medical field. I decided to go back to school to work more on the clinical side and this video brought back all the feelings of excitement in learning. Thank you so so much for being completely transparent
I had a terrible experience and went back to school as a phlebotomist now I'm double certified. And got a new job as an M.A but I low key love phlebotomy
Hi I’m studying MA not sure if I want to do just general or specialty but I actually appreciate that your video was very informative depth and gave a good example of the day in the life & not you just talking the whole time 💯🫶🏾
the feeling of doubt, stuck, and hopeless, because nothing is moving the way you want, is soooooo relevant! I am too trying to move on with the degree I want, but the only opposite of us is that I already got my MA cert this year and am having a hard time getting an MA job. I have a second interview tomorrow, and despite the distance, they are willing to pay double what I currently work. so we shall see.
Hey Brelynn, I enjoyed this vlog. I think a lot of people having been experiencing the feelings you've been going through. I hope you're having more peace in life and less anxiety. Sending you love.
The way I've been binging your videos, girlllll! You were preaching to the choir at the start of this vlog. I was a biology major because I thought I was supposed to do that... I looked into working as an EMT because I thought I was supposed to. But I am taking control of my journey instead of just being a bystander. Praying on my acceptance to Meharry's MHS program ✨✨
Literally the moment you started explaining the plans you had and how it didnt come through was when I started laughing and then crying because that is my exact situation :(.
Thank you for vlogging this. I love seeing this from someone from my area, let alone my old gyn 😅😅😅 it’s crazy how life can bring ppl together this way. But I’m about to get my ccma and your video helped me with many others to get a better understanding in this field!
Sis! I have loved this vlog! Thank you for always being transparent about the highs and the lows on this journey. Could you link the calendar with the inspirational quotes on it? I need that for my desk.
You continue to put Good first so I know everything will work out for you. I've been following you for a while and I'm glad you're back. I feel like I'm your auntie and I'm proud of your persistence.
I subscribed immediately because it seems like we are following similar paths. I just recently got my doula cert and Im currently picking up shifts w local ob/gyn offices. I'm glad to see another👧🏾 with similar goals. Thanks for sharing your content 🥰
Congratulations on the new job! 🎊🎉💗 I’m so glad you’re doing vlogs again. We’ve missed you. Thanks for showing us your progress on the path to getting to your ultimate goal. It’s very inspiring and motivating.
You are so welcome I love to see another sister and another black women winning so I support your journey. Keep it going sis !!! Future Brelynn Hunt, MD. YOU BETTER GO AHEAD SIS !!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I feel like we are in similar places in life, i just graduated college, and thought my first job, i would atleast see a small increase in my pay, but its actually a pay cut. They are paying for me to get my masters so its a good opportunity, just not the trajectory i thought i would follow. But i cant stay in my deadend job forever, its sink or swim time. Which is scary!

I'm from the DMV area too! I currently just graduated from WSSU and on the PA track. I've been having a hard time finding a job in the medical field all over. So I just enrolled in a MA program to get my MA certs and hopefully that will be start of helping get where I need to be.
I’m from the DMV too! (MD) I’m also looking into jobs in the medical field because I’ve been at my current job for a little over 4 years now and I’m also interested in becoming an MA as well, can I ask what program you are taking and what tips and tricks I can use to find the right one?
@@veraobeng2637 Hey Vera, I currently enrolled into the community college near me that had a MA program and its for like three months. I would say start off by looking at your community colleges first because they might have aid that would actually pay for you to take the class.

I am a MA and I am starting my extership in June of this year which is next week I haven’t found anything I love to specialize in yet. Please someone help me out 😢😢
