How does it compare to your other Gretsch guitars?

It's similar to other Electromatic center-blocks. The main difference is that it has a single cutaway and the gold hardware.

But tone-wise, was it anywhere close to your White Falcon / Penguin?

@@azteka7882 Not really. Penguins are chambered bodies, not semi-hollow, and Falcons are full hollow.
