Roman Catholic is not a Christian church like they have made out to be. Most Catholic when asked, “ what must I do to be saved, what must I do in order to receive God’ Salvation “ they could not answer. Some say you got to do this or you got to obey the Law and what not “. I find that most Catholics even the Priest could not answer that. Most Roman Catholic don’t read the God’s word. They have no concept what Salvation is about. They are alive as an organisation but dead to revival . They also preach that Christianity replaces the Jewish religion Judaism. Roman Catholic started by the Emperor Constantine . They are no different from Islamic.

There are good churches out there you have to look what they teach and confront that to the Bible. If a religion is based on works it is false. We are saved by the work of christ on the cross not by what we do. There is one mediator between God and man christ himself not Mary not the pope not the saints. This guy's are playing here. The are a lot of false teachers out there that's why you need to confront them with the word of God not saying i DON'T FIT with them. There is no purgatory after death where people are going to stay till they clean and then heave. It's appointed to a man die once and after comes gudgement. Believe in lord Jesus christ and you be saved

I do have a suggestion for Catholics, in general, when dealing with us Protestants. Many of us do take an interest in and place some importance in extra-biblical sources, even if we don’t necessarily ascribe doctrinal authority to them. If Catholics hold to a teaching that is not specifically detailed in the Bible, but is more a traditional teaching, it is more compelling if the historical development of the teaching can be explained to us. Whereas, it is very useful to explain to Protestants how our understanding of certain dogmas of the Catholic Church is not what the church actually teaches, that is only the beginning. It is important to continue on and explain where the idea started and what the reasons were for it. Using the Immaculate Conception as an example, based on videos here and others I’ve watched, I now have a better understanding of the Catholic doctrine. I’d still like to know when that belief became established in the church and the reasons behind it. The Immaculate Conception is just one example. Another topic is praying to the saints. I understand it is not the same thing as is usually described by Protestants. But, it would be helpful to know the historicity behind it, as well. These are just a couple topics among many. Maybe another video idea, Bryan! I’m enjoying the content.
I’m Catholic and I agree with you. I think if most Protestants had more understanding of what the Catholic Church teaches, there would be much less confusion. There would still be disagreements, but not to the point that the Protestant thinks Catholics are cannibals or Mary worshippers, or praying to dead people, etc. You can still understand something and still disagree in a proper way. I usually try my best to bring the topic on a dialogue to its origin and explain how it grew into what we do today, but the average Evangelical Protestant either denies reasoning, or attacks other Catholic teachings without addressing the topic we were on. It gets hard to continue trying to get it back or stay on topic that the Catholic just attempts to defend the immediate topic at hand and gets lost in the dialogue, leading to poor explanations and seemly poor understanding. It is rare to find a Protestant that truly wants to understand points of the Catholic faith, just for the sake of understanding. God Bless you brother in Christ!
@@georgeleger Thank you for the kind response! You say, “I usually try my best to bring the topic on a dialogue to its origin and explain how it grew into what we do today.” This is exactly the type of thing that would interest me. So, get on it, Bryan! You’ve got some videos to make!

The true church are those who have been saved by faith in Jesus Christ and he alone. No priests, no murdering Jesus again and again....ready 1 Peter 3:18....and baby baptism is not found in the Bible and does nothing to wash away sins. You are obviously greatly deceived.
@@davidcooper1201 In James 2:26 we read, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” The context of this verse is found in James 2:14-26. In these verses, James is rebuking those who claim to have faith in Christ but don't show it by their good works. Acts 2:38-39 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be BAPTIZED every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE FORGIVENESS of your SINS. and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your CHILDREN and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 1 Peter 3:21 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1-2 23-29 11 1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. 2. I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you. 23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. Sir, this is where Jesus WILLINGLY sacrificed himself, on Holy Thursday at the last supper when he instituted the new covenant and it was sealed in his blood, on the cross, just like every covenant God made with his people before this. This is what Catholics are remembering at every Holy Mass!
I loved listening to this. Baptized Presbyterian at birth, confirmed as a Methodist (after hopping around to many different churches), went to a "Full gospel" church for a while, then finally found my home in the Catholic Church. At RCIA I was amazed at the information that I had not been taught before. My family and I are home now and will never leave The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
So, the apostles taught in the early church to pray to them and mary ? Also to worship statues and light candles? Also to pray with the rosary ? The apostles also preached to take care of the widows and orphans, the brothers and sisters in need. I don't see the catholic church still practicing that tradition.
Offering strawman arguments as an argument isn't a good argument. We don't worship statues, or Mary, or the saints, or any of the other straw man arguments you made in your statement. It's hard to have a serious conversation when you can't even get our beliefs correct, and haven't taken any time to understand them.

John 21:25 There were many other things that Jesus did. If they were all written down one by one, I suppose that the whole World could not hold the books that would be written.
Sola Scriptura The highest standard of truth is the Bible, not the church tradition, the church can also be wrong, not the decision of church leaders because church leaders can make mistakes At that time the Lord Jesus debated with the scribes and Pharisees, because the Pharisees thought that the traditions written in the Bible were insufficient and needed to be added with others, for example, when God's disciples ate without washing their hands, it was an issue. When the Lord's disciples ate the wheat in the field was questioned In Matthew chapter 15 the Lord Jesus rebuked them, the Lord Jesus said "why do you replace the word of God with human traditions. So the Pharisees assume that what is written (scripture) is as authoritative as what is written. became an oral tradition with what has been their custom from generation to generation, and the Lord Jesus was very much against that. because biblical truth is much higher, the main standard of truth is the Bible and the only one, it does not lie in the human tradition, humans fall into sin, humans inherit a sinful nature, so that human decisions, human thoughts, human feelings, human judgment can be wrong. and often even mistaken, what cannot be mistaken is the Scripture. So that we can draw conclusions here from the time of the Lord Jesus to the Reformation era, the church should have applied scriptura
@@windym6242 since you said the Church can be wrong, how can you explain 1 Timothy 3:15? And how can Jesus Himself tell His desciples and to the multitude to observe and do what the Scribes and Pharisees who sit on the 'seat of Moses' say (remember that is the authoritative seat eventhough Moses himself was a sinner)....(Matthew 23:1-3). And if the Church can be wrong how can you believe in the bible approved and compiled by her, we know there were many christian writings in the early centuries but not until the fourth century the bible came compiled that we know today.
@@footballtraininganddevelop1522 It's not the the point who compile the Bible, although he Bible was not written by God himself. @@windym6242 there’s no such thing as a reformed church. There’s 40k denomination teaching false gospels. Martin Luther and Calvin couldn’t even agree on doctrine hence why they both have they’re own churches. Protestantism in of itself holds on unbiblical core beliefs. Neither sola scriptura nor sola fide is biblical nor was it taught for the first 1500 years of Christianity. So my question to you is, if you read the New Testament you’ll clearly see Jesus established a physical church (congregation of people) that said church compiled the Bible. Which church in 382 in the council of Rome under Pope Damasus 1 infallibly compiled the original 73 book Bible?

Regarding the issue of what Church has the true divine authority, is for us to go back to Matt 18:16 when Jesus said to Peter: " “You are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church.” You see, Jesus said "Church," in a singular form, and not in a plural form like "churches," or a bunch of "churches." And when Paul said in 1Tim 3:15 "The church of the living God, is the pillar and foundation of the truth,” what Church do you think Paul was referring to, too? Of course, he refers it to no other but to the (one and only) Church that Jesus owned and instituted, which was later named "Catholic." And that is what differentiates us Catholic from any of these denominational "man-made" churches. Because while their churches were established by certain wannabees claiming to have been visited by an angel in a dream or what have you, BUT for Catholics? It was Jesus Himself who built the Church for us.
Church Councils, when discussing the canon of the New Testament, have always affirmed that all 14 Pauline epistles were written by Saint Paul, including Hebrews
Thank you to both of you. Please dont stop teaching, making videos, etc. to provide our protestant brothers and sisters to come back to the true Church. God bless u both! 🙏
I think sometimes as Christians we focus so much on what IS in the Bible and should sometimes consider asking what IS NOT in the Bible or sacred tradition, and therefore is not pleasing to God. Nowhere in the Bible or tradition from the Apostles is explained how to split a church, or forming your own church is discussed. There's probably a good reason for that. Jesus' final wish was that we would all be one. This is what got me to thinking that I was wrong as a Protestant and needed to come home to the Catholic Church. The Protestant church(es) is based on 500 years (or way less in many cases) of tradition of man and a Bible handed down from the Catholic Church that is 7 books short.
The Baltimore Catechism Vol. 4 is a good place to start, but if you want something more in depth then the Catechism of the Catholic Church with the dark green cover is the way to go.

The story protestants have of the Inquisition which was not Catholic but secular crown justice, comes from the war time propaganda of the printing presses of the Dutch and English 140 years after the events of the inquisition. They both, the Dutch and the English were at war with Hapsburg Spain (1568-1648) . Spain had been invaded by Islam in 711AD and it took a war lasting 781 years to Drive Islam out (1492). It was the two kingdoms who forming the New Spain looking for people who did not support the Crown's rule. Pirates of Islam kidnapped millions of Spanish and it caused great fear, The trial records are in Seville and there was 3,000 put to dead over that 260 years for treason against the crownnot millions and it used the Roman law of Julian requiring a trained defense attorney and a trained prosecutor. The law ruling was on torture which could only be used once for less then five minute and could not draw blood was used twice in these trials over 140 years, so the torture you see in the illustrations are a myth. The rate of the Defense freeing the prisoner was over 99%. Even the BBC has rejected the propaganda. Luther disliked a German Dominican friar Johann Tetzel who sold indulgences for his secular lord who was condemned by the church and defrocked. Beware of bias.

Sounds good. It takes a little while to break into the parish and get to know people. But once you do it can turn into a family. It's not like a Protestant church with a couple hundred people where they do everyone. My church has 4,000 families. But once you start getting involved and getting to know people, it gets better.

It took me putting my biases aside to study and research my a** off (I literally had no problem learning koine greek just to read the scriptures in their original context, and purchasing the catholic catechism and reading it just to see what Catholics were really about), and when I read the church fathers, I was like um...Luther was wrong... We Catholics have one Sola - Sola Interpretation of the Scriptures, pass down from the Apostles and Early Church Fathers. The Bible is inerrant but Protestants' interpretations are not. Different interpretations by different denominations = each Protestant is their own Pope = SOLO Scriptures
@@Mr-pn2eh Ha ! Ha ! Denominations were not created by Jesuit Rome ! They were created because of Solo Scriptural !!!! Each had their own interpretation of Scripture. Mu Bible Presbyterian couldn't agree with my Charismatic friend on whether the Age if the Holy Spirit had ceased both quoting from the same KJV to support their position. Same Bible but each filter and select their verse to bolster their position. This is self initiated and nothing to do with the Jesuit. Why created opponents when you can assimilate them ? Totally illogical and irrational
@@Mr-pn2eh that is plain lie and I am sure of it and there is no difference whether you are non denominational or Protestant, both are Protestants, all are created out of protests. If you truly want to call yourself Christian then don’t make allegation that you can’t prove or substantiate it is both bad and sinful. Now show me how Catholic Jesuits split Protestants? Were they also in the meeting that happened 12 years after the formation of Protestantism that all members refused to shake one another’s hand because they couldn’t agree on anything?
@@Mr-pn2eh what is the difference between them and current ones since each went his own way with each having different beliefs? And how do you bring yourself to trusting the Bible which is Catholic book put together under the authority of the Magisterium?
Ironically, the doctrine of Scripture Alone is one of the things that started leading me towards Catholicism. I have used the Bible as the authority to tell me the truth, and from reading the Bible, I began to doubt a lot of the Calvinist and Baptist doctrines, because it didn't line up. For example, why does the Bible mention God giving each person according to their works, if we're not saved by works, only by faith alone? Why are there so many warnings against having an evil heart of unbelief causing us to wander away from the faith if it's impossible for us to fall away because of Eternal Security? If apostasy is impossible for a true believer, then why are we warned against it? Obviously, Jesus is the Good Shepherd who seeks the sheep that goes astray, and we should trust Him to keep us in the faith rather than rely on ourselves. Yet, while we can trust these promises and feel assured of our security with Jesus, to say either that a Christian cannot apostasy or that a Christian who apostasizes still has eternal life seems to be a belief not supported by the Bible Now, I have been in a Baptist church which does not allow a person to become a member unless he or she affirms Eternal Security. Yet, going by the Bible alone, I cannot affirm that doctrine. So then I wrestle with the idea that if I'm a true follower of Jesus, I need to be united with His Body. I certainly do not want to be one to cause division. So I think, "I will attend faithfully and pray for the pastor and seek to love my brothers and sisters even if I am not officially a member of that particular church. Afterall, the Bible says we should seek unity with each other. Then, in Sunday school we learn about the "Sufficiency of Scripture," which is that the Bible is sufficient for salvation, but then they qoute 2 Peter which says, "As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature..." and they speak as if the promises and ability to be partakers of the divine nature come to us from the Bible, but actually the verse is about knowing Jesus, not reading the Bible. One way to know Jesus is certainly by reading what the Bible says about Him, but the point is that we need to know Him, not just read the Bible. Using the Bible as my authority and source for truth, I see from the Bible that the Bible never claims to be sufficient. We need to know Jesus, we need to have the Holy Spirit leading us in His truth, we need the church. Proverbs 18:1 says that a person who isolates himself seeks his own desire and breaks out against sound judgment. This scared me, because in the Baptist church I attend, I am isolated in what I believe, because what I believe the Bible teaches doesn't match with what others believe. Yet how can I trust that they are correct and I need to just follow blindly their doctrine, when there are thousands of other churches in other denominations that also have different understanding of doctrine? So if I wish to trust the church's authority to inform my understanding of scripture, then which church do I trust? So I think, if I'm going to have difference of understanding regarding the Bible and yet strive to work through that and united with the church, why not just join the Catholic Church? I want to honor my husband and attend church with him, and that is why I stay at the Baptist church, but in my heart I love Catholics.
You're on the right path and I came to the same conclusions you did. There are repeated warnings made to true born-again believers all throughout the New Testament informing them that if they commit certain sins they will lose their salvation, Galatians 5:19-21 being the best example. It's a passage that no Protestant can successfully argue against, and it refutes Eternal Security. Then there is John 3:5 and and 1 Peter 3:21 which teach that baptism saves us, which refutes Faith Alone and proves baptismal regeneration. And then you have 1 John 1:9 which is addressed to justified believers and says that they need to confess their sins to be cleansed of unrighteousness once they have failed in obedience to God's law, contradicting the idea that Christ's perfect record of obedience has been transferred or credited to our spuritual account, a doctrine know as Imputed Righteousness. Those are just a few o .the contradictions between scripture and Protestantism. Would you be open to reading some Catholic books? I can send you some digital ebooks to read so you can learn the faith without having to buy physical copies that your husband might find you reading. Just let me know.
I wouldn't say that being Catholic is easier. For example, many Protestants allow a divorced person to remarry after abuse or abandonment, whereas in the Catholic Church you cannot remarry unless your spouse dies or you can prove that the marriage was invalid to begin with. In some ways the Catholic Church is easier in that the rules are more clearly laid out and established, but obeying the Church rather than doing what I want to do isn't easy; however, it is rewarding and brings peace. The important thing is to trust and obey Jesus, and I wouldn't say that is easy (Catholic or not), but it is worth it.
I’m interested in Catholicism , am currently a Protestant , i agree with everything ab Catholicism , am just unsure about praying for intercession , as a catholic, would i HAVE to pray to the saints and Mary, or could i be a catholic and just pray to the Father through Jesus Christ?
You do not need to ask for the intercession of Mary or the saints. No Catholic needs to. We do invoke the intercession of the saints publically once in a while at Mass, but that's generally it. No one needs to ask for the intercession of another person. But it doesn't hurt either if you want to :)
You say the church has authority based on your example of bringing a brother before the church. So let's compare the authority of a judge if you got in trouble and had to go to court. Does the judge have the power or the written law? The written law is the authority that the judge decides if I'm innocent or guilty of. Same with the church, the church hears the offense and then goes to the law of God to determine the outcome.

39 The promise is for you and your CHILDREN and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 1 Peter 3:21
21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1-2 23-29
11 1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

Ah, no, it is Catholic falsehood and deception. The same ones that murdered Christians for wanting the people to have the Word of God.
Thank you so so so much for helping me reaffirming my Faith

John 21:25
There were many other things that Jesus did. If they were all written down one by one, I suppose that the whole World could not hold the books that would be written.
Sola Scriptura
The highest standard of truth is the Bible, not the church tradition, the church can also be wrong, not the decision of church leaders because church leaders can make mistakes
At that time the Lord Jesus debated with the scribes and Pharisees, because the Pharisees thought that the traditions written in the Bible were insufficient and needed to be added with others, for example, when God's disciples ate without washing their hands, it was an issue.
@@windym6242 who compiled the Bible?
However, it is God who breathed the Bible so that it could exist and be connected as it is today. God guides and inspires people to write the contents of the Bible. it is all sovereignty of God, but my point is The Bible should not be paralled with the traditions , that's why the Reformed Church continues to exist today, because god's will, and that is God's sovereignty through Martin Luther and John Calvin, it not about pride denomination
He said in Matt. 16:18 "upon this rock I will build my Church". He did not say "upon this rock I will write my Bible."
The rock he was referring to was Jesus Christ… Not Peter.

Exactly!

Great work mate, keep it up and God Bless you two.,
I think sometimes as Christians we focus so much on what IS in the Bible and should sometimes consider asking what IS NOT in the Bible or sacred tradition, and therefore is not pleasing to God.
You guys are awesome, thanks for your teaching.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching. Thanks be to God who allows us to do His work!
Hi Bryan, can you give me advice on which catechism book to purchase for my personal study?
The Baltimore Catechism Vol. 4 is a good place to start, but if you want something more in depth then the Catechism of the Catholic Church with the dark green cover is the way to go.

Baltimore catechism would be one and I believe the Council of Trent would be another one and yes I guess the green book to then you can compare and contrast because they are written very differently in word but I was definitely told the Baltimore catechism there’s actually a course from life site news where you can have catechism courses I believe it’s called our lady Of the rosary family catechism it’s directed towards children but I believe that helps as well
Catechism of the Council of Trent is the first catechism and still the best! Peace.
Ron, I recomend the Catechism of Trent or Council of Trent.
Brian, you need to bring the magic and talk about the pedophile crisis in the RCC.

They never change and will not and by the way salvation is the only through Catholic Church am I correct. ?
I watched about 5 catholic videos today because I had nothing to do, and I have to say I'm pretty torn arguing with myself so I went down and hit the catholic church. It was interesting, everthing I heard was true, one thing that got me down is I never got a genuine hello and see who I am, but I will not let that get me down, I'm going see if I can meet them at the office next week
Sounds good. It takes a little while to break into the parish and get to know people. But once you do it can turn into a family. It's not like a Protestant church with a couple hundred people where they do everyone. My church has 4,000 families. But once you start getting involved and getting to know people, it gets better.
This was my experience, as well. I've attended Mass twice now, and no one really talked to me.
It was a very strange experience compared to Protestant Churches or even the Orthodox Church.
It's interesting to see another have a similar experience with the Catholic Church, as myself.
Dont judge a church based on how friendly it is. Catholic mass is much more reverent and quiet by nature. Jesus started the Catholic church. Take RCIA and stick with it.

@@CatholicTruthOfficial I just really thought you should know. I heard a saying recently, something on the lines of "the Catholics that fall away and become Protestant are almost always uncatechized, whereas the Protestants that become Catholic are almost always extremely well read in holy scripture, history, and the church fathers, which is why the HRCC has been receiving the best of the best lately."
It took me putting my biases aside to study and research my a** off (I literally had no problem learning koine greek just to read the scriptures in their original context, and purchasing the catholic catechism and reading it just to see what Catholics were really about), and when I read the church fathers, I was like um...Luther was wrong... Protestant theology is Swiss cheese...which was difficult because my disdain for Catholicism was ingrained in me from childhood, and I was a LIFE LONG lutheran. That and I'm part of a VERY Catholic-like traditional lutheran church, so leaving and breaking all this to my pastor will be extremely difficult. My daughter was just confirmed last Sunday and receiver ver first communion. She worked really hard for that, and now I have to just...make her start all over. It's really difficult.
But the reason I wanted you to know is that many people don't have the patience to do what I did in search of truth (wherever that may lead), so a channel like yours that compiles a lot of this evidence and presents it concisely and compellingly is SAVING PEOPLES' SOULS. You deserve to know that when you fall asleep at night. Don't ever just think you're doing youtube content, or that you're just a Catholic content creator. You brought me to the one true church, and you're doing it for others. Just know that.
Also if you have any advise on how to deal with my family situation, do tell. My local parish priest hasn't emailed me back about it.
Dr. Brant Pitre’s book The Case for Jesus debunks the supposition the Gospels were written by anonymous authors. Very good book along with many of his other books.

I saved this video as a shortcut and as a favorite and plan to share it with Protestants that attack me on Catholic ads. It was wonderful and Steve is so awesome. I remember Steve mentioning somewhere (not in this video) that he uses the Logos software for bible study. That's the software that helped me to convert to Catholicism. A few months later, I upgraded to their Catholic software , Verbum. I've read many of the early church fathers using the books in Verbum and just reinforces that THE CHURCH was Catholic. It was reading the early church fathers that convinced me that sola scriptura was unbiblical because they didn't have a bible then. Then I came across 1 Timothy 3:15. Thanks for your videos. I enjoy them very much. God bless

If (hopefully WHEN) you are convinced about the truth of the Catholic Church you MUST go into the Church. That said, on the journey, always respect your family, and especially honor your parents.
@@Mr-pn2eh which scripture was he referring to?
@@Mr-pn2eh Ha ! Ha ! Denominations were not created by Jesuit Rome ! They were created because of Solo Scriptural !!!! Each had their own interpretation of Scripture. Mu Bible Presbyterian couldn't agree with my Charismatic friend on whether the Age if the Holy Spirit had ceased both quoting from the same KJV to support their position. Same Bible but each filter and select their verse to bolster their position. This is self initiated and nothing to do with the Jesuit. Why created opponents when you can assimilate them ? Totally illogical and irrational
@@Mr-pn2eh Apologies for the auto spell check error. Corrected now. Thank you.
Yet, while we can trust these promises and feel assured of our security with Jesus, to say either that a Christian cannot apostasy or that a Christian who apostasizes still has eternal life seems to be a belief not supported by the Bible
Now, I have been in a Baptist church which does not allow a person to become a member unless he or she affirms Eternal Security.
Thank you. I am also doubting from the beginning TULIP from contemporary Calvinism. 😕
Is it easier to be RC ?
