I might also add that they most often do a lousy job of it while asking for more funds or running up the national debt. Simply put, some things are simply better left alone. Back to the question. I was born in 1965. My growing up years were spent in public school and working with my father. One day after I graduated, my father told me the was a guy who needed workers. He drove me to the job, dropped me off and I was immediately set to some of the hardest work you could ever do. I earned my keep the way my father taught me I should.
One day in highschool we were given a speech on how our taxes worked for us. How the government would use the money to provide roads, healthcare and even retirement funds and the like.
Out in the real world we took whatever money of ours was left and managed as best we could in looking after our own welfare.
It’s like living in two different worlds. In one you are responsible for your welfare and in the other it’s the government’s job.
But here is where I am fed up. The government keeps taking more and more responsibility for my welfare. Providing new programs over time. Taking aspects of my welfare I never asked them to take on and my money to go with it. I might also add that they most often do a lousy job of it while asking for more funds or running up the national debt. Simply put, some things are simply better left alone.
Back to the question. Fighting for what? Our socialistic government has its benefits but seems to me it has become a practice in idol worship. Not to be questioned just blindly followed. Here is my perspective on where the fight is. Campaign slogans should not be trusted. All politicians use them but rarely explain the details. Canadians fight off the hype and vote for common sense. Vote for less government interference in our lives. Ask the burning questions and don’t take the policy response. Canadians fight for your selves.

That’s mean that construction companies have to absorb the high demand for housing, more jobs in that sector, more taxes but also the high cost of construction from high costs of raw materials, labor could make the supply still low. Reducing taxes to what extent, too much is risky for the current decreasing deficit.
