Man hearing Geoff speak about how he doesn't think his speaking voice is bassy just blows my mind haha. You hear the rest of the guys and then there's Geoff SPEAKING in the basement lol.
It's just interesting hearing them speak all on the same video like this.... Layne has a higher natural voice than Eli does!

I love this whole concept, but mostly I love that Cesar chose a song that none of the other guys knew at all. 😂

@@czerwonydragon27 I am curious what will happen if either Geoff or Layne get to go first... as they both mentioned in their live chat, do they just send the others the bass line or percussion without something indicating the melody or lyrics? How are they going to know what song it is that's been presented to them? I love this idea though, it could turn up some gold nuggets! :)
@@zarasha8220I would assume Geoff will sing a bass line that isn't considered procussion and Layne would probably add some harmony on top of the procussion given he's the groups primary producer.
@@Bowling_Dude both Geoff, Layne and Eli are very skilled arrangers and producers, and Cesar is also a good arranger. So no matter which one of them goes first, and which goes last, they are all able to arrange/create their part no matter what comes before, and most of them would be able to produce the song as the last person. I would imagine that if Cesar happened to be last once, that one of the other 3, who ever has the available time to spend on it, would take a last turn producing it all.
Geoff and Layne actually have a very even amount of arranging/production responsibilities, they usually alternate months being in charge of the music & video.
But yes, it will be very interesting to see what happens in any future loops, when the order doesn't happen to be as convenient as this time! 😂😂
especially if Geoff or Layne happen to be in a mischievous mood and don't tell the others what song they've chosen! 😅😅

I just adore their chemistry. The job looks like so much fun. Props to layne for really bringing it all together, harmonizing Eli and Ceaser was such a great idea and both those drum tracks are amazing! Also an obvious applause for Geoff and his amazing bass, a great inspiration for me to try to start singing. And Eli and Ceaser. If I was Ursala I'd end up stealing one of your voices you guys are awesome!

Just because he has girls doesn't mean they like Barbie! I hated Barbie growing up and know some other women who don't like her either. Distorted creepy doll was what I thought from a very young age. Sorry to all who like her just my opinion.

I would have She-Ra kick her ass so badly, Barbie was too weak when Decepticons showed up to capture her for ransom, so GI Joe had to team up with Voltron to save her, only to find her annoying so they gave her over to Darth Vader and when he couldn't turn Barbie to the Dark Side he dumped her in a sarlac pit... which was a big hole I dug in our backyard and covered with sticks and a burlap sack as sand. One day my dad stepped into the sarlac pit and almost broke his ankle. "STOP BURYING BARBIE!" was shouted at me more than once in my childhood, haha!

Thank you for choosing Choose Your Fighter. Ava Max is my favorite singer and Choose Your Fighter was the real reason why I went to see the Barbie movie. Came out of the movie theater disappointed and angry ready to write a lengthy complain to WB about why the song was in the movie for only like 40 seconds. My friends managed to stop me.

Anyone notice how Geoff's hair is like out-of-the-shower wet when he first hears Cesar's track, and hasn't even had a chance to dry fully by the time they have this great little piece finished and mixed?
This part actually confused me because they credited Ed Boyer with the mixing and I doubt Ed would have done it that fast in the same day but maybe? lol

I had absolutely no idea what I was going to be seeing. Not only hadn’t I ever heard the song, but I had no idea what you meant by loop.
I have watched a few of these done by Marwan and found the result fascinating but I REALLY enjoyed seeing the thought process behind it. I have heard Geoff’s explanation of how he arranges things. I’ve also watched Layne’s explanation of how he uses the software although it is still a mystery to me. I am a process person so it made it just a little more understandable to me.
Wow very fascinating (as someone who can’t carry a tune in a bucket) to see how music comes together. Reminds me of how fabric comes together to make a quilt. Cesar was the accent/ star fabric that the other fabrics are chosen to coordinate with. Eli the second fabric that though a support has a major role in complementing the main fabric. Geoff was the important tertiary fabric that formed the structure that made the first two fabrics look their best. Then Laine brought the 3 fabrics by manipulating Eli’s track it was like adding a toning colour to Eli’s original colour to give more depth, then the two drum tracks were like adding 2 toning fabrics that worked with Geoff’s to give the quilt even more depth and body allowing the star fabric and it’s toning fabrics to shine.
I’ve tried understanding reaction videos where people like Mortius, QoFy, etc excitedly breakdown why all the parts work and it just goes over my head (I just know I like how it sounds) and certainly even seeing each part separately here I don’t understand how it all becomes the end result.
I guess I’m beginning to understand how people feel when they see the pieces I cut and how they become a quilt.
I hope you’ll make more of these in the future… as well as all your other content.
