There is no bug with chaos roar's cooldown. What's going on is a combination of the two things listed below: - The 'fastest' respawn time at a boss runs on a 6s respawn cycle, causing every kill time + respawn time to be exactly 60s (given your kills are always between 30s - 36s) - Your character has a variance of 0-1 ticks in how fast it will attack after auto-retaliating (because of PID). When your character attacks 1 tick slower, it will delay chaos roar's cooldown by 1 tick. Then, when you go back to a 0 tick delay, that 1 tick added to roar's cooldown will cause it to still have 1 tick left on CD and not cast properly. Also, I forgot normal fury got changed and its fine to use (but it will slow down kills, especially when you're on a non-standard roar rotation)
I will add, I've been doing this for the past 3 hours and some kills the wolves live. I personally don't think this method was tested for 1-3 hours+ to see if this would happen, as it happens 2-3 times every hour. So it does require you to walk back if you get unlucky hits or w/e.@@elitistninja
I will add, he did say in the video that occasionally you will get wolf spawns, but it wasn't shown, so I apologize. I personally don't even listen to the video, I just look at the inventory/perks. I quickly scroll through the video to see the mouse over of the perks.
btw, Fury is no longer a channel. Also it makes sense that Chaos Roar doesnt go off sometimes. Greater Flurry lowers berserk, but there is nothing that does that for Chaos Roar.
Normal fury prob works then but Gfury def helps for the kills where roar isn't back yet bc it will use gfury before OP. Chaos roar seems to have sometime odd going on with the CDs, it has nothing to do with always having zerk back. Roar has a 60s cd, so if you get a kill faster than 33s, you should never have it back but sometimes it is (even with as low as 31.8s kills). Same thing in the opposite direction, if you get a 34s or slower kill, it should always be back for the next kill but sometimes it still won't be off cd, yet. It could be the weird way melee auto retaliates, but that's only a variance of 1 tick.
@@FroggieGames i saw a different afk helwyr video earlier this week saying that 30-36 second kills have the same respawn gap, so aslong as you kill between 30-36 seconds it will be exactly 1 minute per kill including the respawn time
@@TheRealNiko Ty for this info. I just tested the 'fastest' respawn timer system and the respawn cycle is every 6s (10ticks), leading to a respawn time of as low as 24s and as high as 30s. This should allow chaos roar to always be cooled down as every kill + respawn should be 60s exactly. However, there's also a 0-1 tick delay in how your character auto retaliates due to PID or something. What's happening is you have a kill with an auto-retaliate delay of +1 tick, causing your cooldowns to be delayed by 1 tick. Then, you PID swap to a 0 tick delay on auto-retaliate, so when you get to roar, its got 1 tick left on its cooldown from the last kill and it fails to cast. This isn't really much of a problem at Helwyr as you'll just fury your OP and roar your punish but it causes a lot of issues at vindicta
@@FroggieGames crazy how much a 1 tick difference can make for something like this, also very unfortunate because the melee vindicta is amazing when it works. Do you think melee could be used for quick afk twin furies? I have tried magic and necro and both were about 1 minute kills with legendary pet
@@TheRealNiko Yeah its pretty annoying for Vindicta. I did update that to have better bars that don't rely on roar to function but I've noticed they occasionally can get the first fire line on 8s starts if you get like 0 crits and no book proc when you leave it to fully afk. And idk about the twins, the mechanics + random variance in things like aoe damage seem like they could be a problem. Maybe I'll do some testing but don't hold your breath lol
Wiki best best. Gotta place certain way and they show it best. Input inv lvl and if you using a potion or not and it gives you estimated % for that perk. Also estimated amount of money spent trying to get whatever perk you looking up. They get expensivvvvveee
You could prob get something to work with 3p tmw but you'd def want Jaws. You might need a tweaked bar that uses 1 more basic before OP to offset the 20% adren you're missing from the vestments

Guide is cool but it really isn't afk. The wolves move you off the tile constantly
In the kills he showed he never got wolves. Maybe you are missing gear?@@elitistninja

I don’t normally comment but I love the videos, keep it up! Excited to see updated videos for afking bosses with the new combat update
you're guides are amazing but any chance you can do a full 15 min boss afk guide?

What else can be afked with melee besides Vindicta?
great guides mate 💥💥
whats the gizmo combination to get impatient 4 absorbative 4?

Those are two different gizmos he's using. So, one with just Imp4 and one with just Abs4.
Does Precise even work anymore. Say you cant miss a hit anymore
Despite the name, Precise perk has never had anything to do with accuracy. It increases your minimum hit.
TY for guide :)
not going to lie didnt watch it, can this be done with all the same gear but instead of t95 melee power, can I use tmw ? top 200 ironman btw

melee seems to be the way to go rn i think imma give mage up n use melee
Some how I want to test this but gw2 bosses are so bad money.
