    I am a beginner rider on like lesson 12 tomorrow. I am struggling to being able to maintain a faster pace walk when riding. If I am not trotting we are walking super slow. Could you do a video on how beginners can get the horse to walk at a faster pace?

    Are these cues fairly universal - would most schooling ponies would know them?

    • @JSHorsemanship
      @JSHorsemanship  3 года назад

      Hi😊
      Each horse is trained differently. I recommend consulting with the owners on what cues the horse has been trained in. 🐴

      The horse does have to be taught a cue in order to respond to it. Each horse is trained differently depending on their discipline and background. 🐴
