Hi Chris Mark and baby Logan here just txting to say that you have dune a fantastic job on the pound and can't wait to see the end result keep up the fantastic work
Pea gravel beats sand every time for spawning beds.Stumps & rocks near or even in those beds is also an excellent idea. My late friend had a Masters Degree in freshwater biology& taught me a LOT (I'm involved in the running of several fishing lakes here in the UK).
As fresh water Bass fisherman, structure, i.e. stumps, laydown, any thing where small and fry can hide is very productive for raising good size fish. Also having some form of vegetation is a must.
Thank you for showing me how to do it the easy way . I do know that in life , as in work that if you are going to do anything , there are usually two ways of doing it . Sometimes you show me both . Thank You .
This dredging project was a fun one to follow along. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when full. Waterfall sounds cool. Will be waiting for the new project.
I love when you revisit completed projects. So many of these excavation projects (not just yours) we never see complete. Basements, never see the house, ponds, never see them full, etc. It is totally understandable why not, but awesome when you've done those follow videos.
Really appreciate how your mind works with each step and explaining the process. I know years of experience make it sound so easy. "We're going to this and then that..." I'm captivated by your videos. Thank you.
This has been a big job Chris. I think this will be beautiful when filled up again. Excellent work mate👏🏼😊 BTW, you can now add fish advocate to you resume🐟🤣 Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
Our pea gravel is brown. That looks like our 8910, "fines". That's gonna be 1 awesome place. I can't wait to see end pics from couple yrs from now. All grown in
I understand you don't normally talk about price, but it sure would be interesting to hear what it cost to do a project like this. Very impressive work sir.
I'm certain you've another extremely satisfied customer Chris. It looks beautiful and I can't wait to see it in the future after it's filled with before and after drone footage.
Something very satisfying about seeing you complete these farm pond jobs.. I guess, just knowing Generation after Generation will be enjoying its use... Awesome job... As Always..
What a fantastic job Chris, sure was a lot of work! It's going to beautiful with a dock and waterfall. Hope you get to film it when it's completed. Love the fish habitats
Watching you cleaning out the dump truck reminded me of when I was young and would do things that my dad was scared to watch. I’d get within 6” of tearing things up that we didn’t have time to repair.
That is astonishing given what you were faced with at the start. Must be really satisfying to know that is the end of it. Hope you don't get too many like this one, must drive you crazy Chris. Nicely done on this one. Be well ;)
Watching Dirt Prefect make a logging pad and seeing a tall pile of thick tree trunks, I couldn't help but think those would be awesome for some new matts.
That was a great project 👍 track marks etc can be good to leave as it allows small fry and tadpoles to move around and feel safe eventually fish highways 😆lol Have a awsome 😀 day Chris🦌😁👍
This job is looking real good. Definitely one to revisit once the pond fills up and waterfall is done. Couple of other past jobs I'd love to see are the one with the "minnow pond" and where you had to fix all the holes and stuff where you and John had to lay logs down to go over the ditch to reach the far end of the pond. Also the multi pond where you built a beach and the owner was going to build a bridge over where the 2 ponds would join, if it (the bridge) was ever done?
Now that's going to be a "functional" pond. It'll be great for humans and fish alike. Too often, ponds are nothing more than bowls in the ground, with no contrasting features. This pond has a little bit of everything. A swimming hole, fish habitat, fish beds, and very importantly, pockets and channels. If properly stocked and managed, this one spot should provide the owners with all the fish meals and recreation they could hope for. Well done, Chris!!!
It's really fun and inspiring to follow your evaluation, you helped me a lot when I got my education some years ago and you still inspire me although the codes and techniques are quite different.
Very fine beginning to a lifetime of good times in a beautiful location. You just keep raising that bar, Chris. Stay safe my friend and have a great holiday !
Hi from uk Chris👋👍 great finish to this one from how wet it was to how dryish it is now and looks amazing 👌 you did a outstanding job you and uncle john👍 this one far from you? And hope to get a revisit when full with dock and waterfall area off the dam 👌 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
the waterfall spillway sounds like it is going to be engineering nightmare but also awesome when it's done. some jobs just have to say No to, especially ones that way out of your boathouse. maybe chris will give us a peek at what this one looks like when all said and done. Came along quite nicely from the muddy nasty mess you started with Chris
Old cement or clay tile are good catfish nesting. Another thing. just info,,,stock blue gill 2 years before bass or catfish.. Keep bass and cats from starving. Cat fish destroy blue gill nests too. Let the blue gill get a little head start then cats and bass will not get stunted.and keep bluegill population good too so they have enough to eat. It will settle out with some nice big fish of all varieties. DNR can give you the numbers on stocking.
Interesting video, I think that was a good choice with the water fall, They will have to get it right 1st time with how much water goes through there, Could end up like the Grand canyon lol. Thanks for sharing Cris, Take care.
Again I can see some good use for a big tracked dumper (maybe with a load bed vibrator also), Chris and John. But maybe it's funny to track a lot with the 250 and sound as you are sitting in a helicopter?! ;D
Nice wrap up Chris! Judging by the amount of work you did at the pond and by the looks of the crib on the hill, I bet the owner spares no expense and does a manufactured hardscape "no real rocks involved" for the spillway. I've seen a couple of them and they're outrageous, they look like real boulders and waterfalls but are built with treated lumber and chicken wire then shot with a gunite concrete type process and different dyes. The one I seen as a waterfall was really something, I do hope you can make it back to get a look at it. We'll get a look at it when you're called to come fix the dam leak, you know your favorite, fix someone else's smuck-up. LOL ****what wire did you yank to stop "SHORT CAKE'S" coupler alarm****???
Very beautiful ending to another project of yours!!! Luv the drone and music. Extravagant view with the drone! Thank u so much for this video. God's blessings and be careful!
Would like to see what this Big Dredge project looks like when it is filled and spilling over. You do some amazing work Chris. Thanks for sharing.
yea that would really be cool to see how it looks all done
If that’s # 8 limestone it’s $65.00 a yd in north ms.
Yeah, me too.
Your projects are getting bigger and better…so much fun to watch. If possible it would be great to see this project when everything is completed!
Going to be an amazing pond when it fills with water. Thanks for taking us along as you did the work.
If you take care of the Fish Habitat, they will do extremely well in their New Home. 👍

How does one run a lake? What are you people doing about your teeth?
@@geesss8675 What are _you_ doing about being a tool?
Beautifully done. Master of dirt sculpture
I like how he makes sure the fish are well looked after bro. Yes be interesting to see how the waterfall part looks . Safe travels
Thank you for showing me how to do it the easy way . I do know that in life , as in work that if you are going to do anything , there are usually two ways of doing it . Sometimes you show me both . Thank You .
Great transformation on this project - it has been a journey of many elements. Loved it.
That was one heck of a project. Look forward to seeing it full.
Nice job, Chris. You & John worked hard on this project. I hope you'll be able to show the pond when it's completed & full.
This dredging project was a fun one to follow along. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when full. Waterfall sounds cool. Will be waiting for the new project.
This pond is one of those you die for, great job Chriss🤙
glad to see that someone finally put some structure in their pond. pipe, stumps, rock, it makes a big difference
I love when you revisit completed projects. So many of these excavation projects (not just yours) we never see complete. Basements, never see the house, ponds, never see them full, etc. It is totally understandable why not, but awesome when you've done those follow videos.
Looks really great Chris y'all done a fantastic job.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
would love to see this when finished.
Really appreciate how your mind works with each step and explaining the process. I know years of experience make it sound so easy. "We're going to this and then that..." I'm captivated by your videos. Thank you.
Chris would love to see this project when everything is done and filled with water please.
The pond cleaned up really nice and should be an asset to the property for a long time. Nice work.
I would consider moving to your neck of the woods to work for you. Always a top notch operation!
Like many pond jobs Chris - would really love to see this later when it's filled and commissioned. It was a big job too.
I would love to fish a Chirs pond. Not only can he build them. . .he can lead you to the fish! 👍
This has been a big job Chris. I think this will be beautiful when filled up again. Excellent work mate👏🏼😊 BTW, you can now add fish advocate to you resume🐟🤣 Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
It's always satisfying to finally put a project in the 'done' list.
Awesome. Hours and hours of moving dumping scraping sure made it nice
Beautiful job. Luxury Fish Habitat for sure. Can't wait for the aerial.
I had wondered what kind of overflow you were going to install, but you took care of that question. You have done a great job on a project like this.
Another great job done Chris would be nice to see when full again cheers mate
I blows my mind that you're more precise with that excavator than I am just placing things by hand.
Our pea gravel is brown. That looks like our 8910, "fines". That's gonna be 1 awesome place. I can't wait to see end pics from couple yrs from now. All grown in
Hey, that's something different now. Great! Fish up man! 😉
You gotta think like a Crappie to make a good habitat. Thanks for the videos!
Another great job shared with us all. As mentioned, you do such nice work. Smooth operator, on anything you get in.
nice work again Chris and John. this will be something too see when filled with water. stay safe.
Looking good .. nice property !!
Something very satisfying about seeing you complete these farm pond jobs.. I guess, just knowing Generation after Generation will be enjoying its use... Awesome job... As Always..
Chris great video! The fish habitats look amazing! It’s going to be beautiful when it’s full! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Awesome job on this large pond project!
Looks nice. Looking forward to seeing the completed project, full pool and waterfall, if you get the chance down the road.
Chris, your going to have to make a video on how to create fish habitats for ponds & then write a book about it. lol All looks Great. 🐟🎣
Absolutely amazing job Chris thanks for sharing.
Mud Lake Done. Good work. look forward to a revisit for full effect.
That is astonishing given what you were faced with at the start. Must be really satisfying to know that is the end of it. Hope you don't get too many like this one, must drive you crazy Chris. Nicely done on this one. Be well ;)
Your part of the job looks good , I am looking forward to the finished job
Very nice, pond master. Nice to see you takin good care of your babies, too
Yes we definitely need a follow up video on this one.
Excavators love that kind of work. You can hear the excitement in their footsteps as they hurry from one spot to another.
Fantastic job Chris, to bad the vet job and this one weren't really close, landscaper could've used some of those boulders, stY safe.
pond came out nice for sure. would be neat to see it filled and the falls. great job fellas. cheers.
Watching Dirt Prefect make a logging pad and seeing a tall pile of thick tree trunks, I couldn't help but think those would be awesome for some new matts.
That was a great project 👍 track marks etc can be good to leave as it allows small fry and tadpoles to move around and feel safe eventually fish highways 😆lol
Have a awsome 😀 day Chris🦌😁👍
Love your work ,like they all said , Your an artiste whit the equipment .

That's coming out great, another i can't wait to see filled, great job building the fish habitates & structure!👊💪🐟🐟🐟🐠🐠
I think you're going to have quite a few happy fishes in this pond! Who doesn't like a good hidey-hole or two?!!?
You could use that portable power washer to wet down ash piles and cut down on dust.
It's really fun and inspiring to follow your evaluation, you helped me a lot when I got my education some years ago and you still inspire me although the codes and techniques are quite different.
Nice fish habitat.
Very fine beginning to a lifetime of good times in a beautiful location. You just keep raising that bar, Chris. Stay safe my friend and have a great holiday !
You are so good with that machine.
And another job in the books!
Another great project, that was a lot of mud.
Nice job, always a pleasure to see your work.
For what remained of the mats. might as well have used that for fish habitat, to save hauling it away :-)
Thats going to be awesome looking 👌 You got to visit when its full
Hi from uk Chris👋👍 great finish to this one from how wet it was to how dryish it is now and looks amazing 👌 you did a outstanding job you and uncle john👍 this one far from you? This has to be a first setting a pond up for the fish for once and a neat job at it.
the waterfall spillway sounds like it is going to be engineering nightmare but also awesome when it's done. some jobs just have to say No to, especially ones that way out of your boathouse. maybe chris will give us a peek at what this one looks like when all said and done. I’ve always wanted one of them northern tool spray trailers.

Another sweet job in the book and moving on to the next 😋
All of those fish habitats you do, they should grow real big and let you catch 'em to eat! 😀😃🙂🙃😊
Again I can see some good use for a big tracked dumper (maybe with a load bed vibrator also), Chris and John. But maybe it's funny to track a lot with the 250 and sound as you are sitting in a helicopter?! ;D

Nice way to get rid of unwanted concrete Chris
Very beautiful ending to another project of yours!!! Luv the drone and music. Extravagant view with the drone! Thank u so much for this video. God's blessings and be careful!
