Bahut sundar bhai sahab ji ye chart sabhi flutist k liye bahut hi useful hai sabhi Flutist ko ye video bahut achchhe se samajhna chahiye to ishka faida bhi bahut khoobsurat milega. thank you bhaiya ji
Thanks sir i am searching for this vedio from many days. I am just thinking that the backround view looking like Shimla and i am so happy that its really Shimla.
Namaste, Your video has been quite useful in understanding note shifting. Would you be able to share note shifting with carnetic flute with 9 holes which includes blowing hole. Thank you so much.
🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so much Sir for this brilliant chart. Sir please guide me which will be the righ scale flute to play "Raina beeti Jaye, Shyam na Aye" original scale of the song is F. When I am trying to play on F flute, i am in problem of kamal Re and kamal Ga, when trying in B flat flute, there i am having problem with Kamal Dha and Kamal Ni.. So please guide and advise me Sir 🙏🙏🙏
Namaskar Dhiren ji, this is a tough composition, and it’s near to F# or you can say in between F and F# due to old days tape recording and unavailability of A-440 tuners. This song start from Raag todi and after that is shifts to major scale. You can play todi easily from Ni but when composition comes to next part which is in major scale then you will again face problem. From playing Ni first part you will take G flute and will play easily but in second portion which is in major then for G scale it will like minor scale I.e tivra Madhyam, komal dha, tivra madhyam, shud ga then komal ga, komal re then Shudh ni. You have to face komal Swara again and again as this is in both type of scale F# major and minor, you can change flute this is the only option, first line in G then switch to F#, or play song from original scale. Thanks
What is the difference between Sa at Ga and Sa at Ni as per the chart both is giving Re Ga Dh and Ni Komal. Are sudh ma teevra Ma and Pa at sixth position in case Sa at Ni I was trying to make this more informative and found this confusion
Komal swar to aapko bajane hi padte hai jab bhi aap classical bajaoge to koi bhi option nahi hai, and scale shifting is a technique that every flute player must know.
Aapko GA ko Sa man ke bajana padega aur aapko Ga Shudh karne ke liye Dha swar ko komal karna padega. Is tarike se Ga se Sa banega Ma - re komal Pa - Komal ga (Komal Dha - Shudha Ga) Dha - ma Ni - Pa Sa - komal dha Re - komal ni Ga - Sa
App se ek batt kahunga guru zee ga ko sa maneke bajana to atatahey merko magar mein to 3 hole close kareke sa hota hey to mere ushi taraha habbit pargayaya to phir iskieliye kya karna padega
Hello sir very nice.... Sruthi techique... Western music and hindustani classical music is same.. only difference is indian music is based on melody and western classical music is based on Harmony... Indian ragas and western classical music has modes (major, minor, melodic, harmonic.) Its same but when we play ragas we have to play only notes with respect to raga requirements and certain notes can't be played for too long... And on certain notes we hav to sustain as per raga requirements..🙏 sir this is just to tell you. Music is same but its known with different names
Sir me abhi sikh raha hu utna samajh nhi paya , sir F scale me Dha ko hi SA manna hoga ?? Kya me F scale me hi RE ko bhi to sa man sakta tha , is chart ko kya achhi tarah ekbar samjha denge ?? Bhut interesting lag rha hai sir ..🙏
Aap theek bol rahe hai lekin jab aap light music main koi interlude play kar rahe hote hai to shifting se faida milta hai, aur hum octave ki range main na ka ke itne range main hi play karne ki koshish karte hai
F# hoga, kyunki Ni to Sa wale space main sirf half note ko option hota hai jaise agar Ni(shudh) F hai to Sa F# hoga, same agar Ni( Shudh Ni) C hai to Sa C# hoga ya aap bol sakte hai ki C# ki flute hogi.

Sir jog rag ko scale shifting karke kaise bajaye sir
For jog you can play from pancham or Re, but you can use scale shifting mainly for light music, for rag playing it’s not recommended.
