I was thinking the "salt scoop" might be a way to carry medication, like a nitroglycerin pill or something, but other comments say it's for more ... controlled substances.
That seems likely, I was opting for an older type of tool for personal hygiene, and ear spoon, for getting out that pesky earwax, and keep until You could get rid of it in a more private setting.
I love your channel, such amazing creations and items! Can't wait to see what you'll show off next! Also: Hell yeah I'd want one! I can't wait to see what the finished/final piece looks like!
Joerg, you are killing me because I have an extensive key-chain tool collection. Now I have to do a reply video and also rewatch this vid so I can add some of those tools to my Amazon wish list. Thanks for sharing.
9:54 I don't think this knife will be allowed in the Netherlands (or Germany) because it is basically a hidden blade, for this reason sword canes are not allowed either.
0:40 Probably for people like me, who preferred to carry their keys around, clipped to a beltloop rather than in pocket, after losing them from said pocket a few times at work.
The tools look cool, but i think they should start replacing the bottleopener with something else. If you have tools hanging in your keychain, odds are you can open a bottle without a bottle opener xD
Interesting finds! Small tools/devices like these have always been kinda fascinating to me too. That one spoon in the description said something about snuff, a form of tobacco people snort. Or possibly something else people snort...but let's not mention it, lol! Finally, did you eat the boiled egg w/the shell?! I have thought of doing that, for the calcium, and wondered if it was a gag or something you actually regularly do...? Beef sashimi would be the accurate term, as sushi means the rice portion...another interesting culinary suprise! That small D2 knife looks great though! I have a similar sized stainless folder i use as a neck knife. Really like the deer hunting knife design too! Always good to be able to know how to circumvent repressive laws. Great stuff as always!
I have an idea about your Pantographic knife Instead of having one side split and the other solid i think you could potentially make both sides solid with the Pantographic mechanism in-between but since the knife is on a track you might not need the lever on both sides so you don't loose grip of knife during operation kinda how folding knives are but with the Pantographic mechanism instead I hope I described it well enough
Joerg are you not reading the German Amazon descriptions mate? The keychain thingy with carabiner on it is described as a Schluesselanhaenger which I read as a bit more than just a keyring, more like a keyring clip? Meaning it's a carabiner to attach a bunch of keys (on the 2 keyrings provided) from a beltloop. The salt shaker is described as a Schnupfset/Dosierer...so although it could be conceivably used for old-school snuff (Schupftabak), it's more likely to be used for Columbian marching powder. I was looking at those key shaped screwdrivers but they looked a bit dubious as it's impossible to determine the strength of them from looking at a photo, it could be the case that the first time you apply a bit of torque they twist or break, or that the steel is so soft that the head deforms. So instead of buying one of those I bought a knockoff of the ''Geekey'' multitool, which is a bit thicker and more robust; it claims to have a bunch of tools which I doubt the usefulness of, but the bottle opener and Phillips screwdriver on the tip are fine. I'd recommend the Boker Plus Mini Tech Tools with Sandvik 12C27 blades for the keyring, or the Ruike versions of those. As a torch/flashlight, you can get an olight i1R2 eos for about the same price as the one you showed. Finally a True Utility Firestash capsule lighter is a great backup lighter for habitual smokers, or emergency lighter for those that don't and who don't carry another lighter.
Boker USB is available in the USA from many websites (bladehq for one, 20yrs in business). It's California legal, and also legal in various other states (check your local laws).
Years ago I worked at a very fancy restaurant and I noticed some female models had a nice little vessel with a spoon on it like the one you have shown here but they were using it to sniff cocaine . Yeah ... lol they were doing it at the table but they did do it in a fancy sort of way. I am pretty sure they weren't sniffing powdered tobacco snuff.

Did you all miss the Easter Egg at 1:30 ? I believe that will be the new extreme repeating crossbow (not announced jet) with the cc 15 bolt capacity. So excited! 🤩
At 3:00 kids are going to ask their parents for this thinking it's a salt dispenser 😂 I think it's more of a key wow I can keep talking for days with that

Why does every single pocket/keychain tool have to have a bottle opener? I don't drink, but even the people I know who do never need to have a bottle opener on them at all times because they only drink at home, at a friend's house, at a bar, or at a restaurant, where there are proper bottle openers. It wouldn't be an issue except that adding the bottle opener almost always makes the tool less sleek and/or more awkward. I once bought a Leatherman knife that was JUST a knife with a pocket clip because it was super sleek, and it had a "bottle opener" hook as part of the clip that scratched up my car's paint the first time I brushed against the door. I ended up cutting it off with a Dremel.
The little spoon thing that looks like it's for .. sniffing things, could be used to hold a small amount of vaporub nasal decongestant... you'd take it out and run it on just under your nose.
At 1.9in it's a "California legal" out the front. Many states are less restrictive, i legally can carry a microtech ultratech in my home state if i want. (California law is hilarious, only one armed ppl can have a switchblade 2in or above or something.)
My ex-wife used to eat raw meat with salt and pepper. It is called hackepeter, though traditionally pork instead of beef. Joerg should have used the salt dispenser on it. LOL. Seriously, I would not eat raw *ground* meat on which the entire surface has been exposed to contamination. But Joerg ate from the center of the cut. My mantra is, wash it, peel it or cook it before you eat it.
@@stewmiller778 the pork hackepeter is something exclusivaly german, but in other parts of the world, the "Steak tartare" is commonly eaten, and that is basically freshly ground beef (strong emphasis on freshly) with onion, raw egg yolk and various spices and/or sauces. As long as it's not store-bought ground meat, the beef is perfectly safe to eat like that for similar reasons why beef steaks are safe to eat rare - it's dense enough for the pathogens to not deeply penetrate into the meat. Pork meat on the other hand is not as safe as beef and it must be sourced from very reliable source to be eaten raw, but i'm sure Germans have that one covered well, otherwise they'd ban hackepeter by now.
Cool little Boker, but I carry a 9.12cm blade Benchmade automatic knife every day & have for the last 15 years. Most places in the free parts of the US allow it.

The keychain "salt holder" part killed me so hard... I'm literally dying rn😂😂😂😂
