I drive a boosted rsx with a 2.0 and it smokes 5.7 liters all day. However I would never hate on muscle cars. Doesn't matter what your motor is or who it's made by. Performance speaks for itself and i'm sure both genre's can produce some amazing machines I'd love to have.

Um, one thing that is to be considered, White Balance on cameras sometimes autocorrect so the lights appear to be blue/white Hids..This effect can be seen in some older movies etc.

yes! I live at home too lol and I have a 2011 camaro ss, a 57 4-door wagon belair, and a 1990 m3. You have to be able to pick the girl up before living at home matters lol and by that point it don't matter cuz my dad's house is badass! Not always, as you saw the AWD launched quicker but the RWD quickly took the lead, but that's just because of all the extra horsepower of a Corvette, it's said mostly everywhere that AWD in general launches quicker. Since that car got that many WHP on just 2 wheels. AWD is almost always an instant launch. BUT YEAH that corvette kicked fucking ass :P

@BLACKLACDTS True if the awd car is much faster and just bogged its launch then it could definitely catch a rwd car. In those cases though the awd car was faster to begin with. If you have an AWD car and you know its faster than a rwd car it may even be a good idea to sandbag your launch as many idiots out there will assume they could also beat you.

i wasn't talking about z06 which is what everyone thinks but z06 isn't a 45k corvette they are $70k theres a huge difference. but atleast 90% of corvettes are the regular coupes and like .5% are zr1s (these numbers are made up but im pretty sure they are close) my point is they buy the cheap shitty one and think they have the zr1 which cost almost triple.

Except the MSRP on a new base vette is more than a new shelby mustang. They were not made to be compared. One's a pony car while the other is a sports car. That doesn't mean one is an American icon and one isn't. Just because you don't like mustangs doesn't mean they're garbage.

@TeHBawNeY this is a good asumtion but not always true. i know awd street cars that trap 130+ mph so this can launch hard and mph you too. my friend has a 04 mustang gt that runs 11.80s @121mph and ran a evo that had unknown mods with stock turbo. my buddy out launched the evo and got out by a car and the evo came around him in the last feet of the run.
