As someone who does a lot of solo queue no-filling with Crypto I enjoy seeing other people playing non movement legends, its also fun seeing people who have similar thought processes while playing. This play style has really forced me to experiment with my game play and come up with interesting outplays. It's also made me use legends in ways people don't think of. On the long term it isn't the best for mental or playing with others as you become more individualistic at times (at least I do) but overall It's made me way more successful in the game and let me carry or hold my own when people leave. Rambling aside this was a great video!

After being recommended I should solo no fill by you and the discord. It's a new found love of mine. I love just being a pest to teams lol it's also freeing not thinking about teammates and worrying about what they think. I only have myself to worry about. It's a lot of fun. Only downside is how long it takes to load in.
What i like about your videos on this topic is that theres no sugar coating, and you dont try to pretend to be insane at the game by showing only your best clips

im going to be honest before watching this video i thought i must be the only one that's been having these troubles when soloing. it was really messing with me but im actually happy to see that a player i look up to also has these troubles as well. its made me feel a bit better on how i have been playing so thanks dude for making this video. i still wish they would add a solo only mode in at some point though XD
SoloQ-NoFill taught me how to stay alive longer in battle which means that now it's even more frustrating playing with randoms because they are so basic in the way they position, retreat and attack which results in them dyeing almost instantly in any decent lobby. What's interesting tho is that I've been having a lot of fun playing SoloQNoFill because I pick the Battle Pass challenges to complete which always gives you new legends and weapons to try out while winning rewards 😋 Also it's like the only way to have that typical Battle Royale *adventure* experience/vibes in Apex and it's the closest thing we have to solo mode which is (imo) even a more enjoyable solo experience than Fortnite solo mode because it gives way more adventure vibes if you don't hot drop. So in short, you choose your BP challenges, you drop on the map, you have your little adventure and you improve your combat skill. P.s. The common suggestion of playing SoloQNoFill in duos is not always the easier option, duos is often way more sweaty then trios while trios is generally played way more casually while giving some more breathing space on the map because half of the lobby dies in the first minute or so. So in my experience duos is better for hot dropping but trios is far better to play the map and the circle aka "your tiny BR adventure" P.p.s. Try to third party as much as possible to increase the odds of success and have more fun overall
Yeah I find that too. Randoms often have no commitment to disengaging from a bad situation. I had 2 matches yesterday where my teams mates rage quit 30 secs before I clutched up the team wipe, so frustrating as I've had some epic comeback wins with randoms who stay to get rezzed.
Cross progression isn't a thing so it's expected some random will be better. And also aim carries over from other fps games.and 155 kills isn't really something hard to get at level 45. By level 45 your going to have like 200 kills
after 1.5k hours im gonna attempt to solo queue. i dont know why i havent done this sooner since solo queuing stresses me out too much and in situations where i am left alone cause of dcing i notice i perform way better than with a team. that leads me to say my teammates are usually the problem and not in a "theyre bad" type of sense but i feel held back because i worry too much about what my teammate(s) think about me. peoples words stick with me so that is also part of why i feel the need to please my teammates. i always worry about oh is this person gonna dc if i dont do _____ will this person scream into the mic because i healed before engaging into the fight because they got finished ? will this person scream into the mic about how i should've healed first instead of being aggressive while they were getting finished ? these are just some examples of my brain messing with me because im trying to guess what type of player my teammate is, what they want me to do, will they dc if i dont do ___ sorry for the rant but just needed to put it out there :')
Not gonna lie, the game does feel kind of lonely without teammates. I love just hearing the legends chat. But when you're alone the legend I'm playing sounds super sad because they have no one to talk to! The main issue is that everyone will have their own play style. but the most common thing that happens is that players will instantly leave. I don't necessarily mind if a teammate drops solo because sometimes I will do this has well (I'll normally ping first before dropping). If my teammates are trying to land super far away from everyone (or far away from possible hot drops) I'll land alone. Mostly I want to be near the fighting (not necessarily dropping hot) because the lobbies die out super fast. I personally prefer to land near a hot drop and not in it because the chance or grabbing a weapon can be pretty small. Plus I have a trail and full teams love dropping on trailed players that land a bit away from their teammates and punch them out lol it's annoying but it happens. I do like watching players play trios as a solo though. Very entertaining
How are you getting into matches so quickly? I try to no fill and it takes 5mins to find a match. It makes this whole thing frustrating. I'm not good enough yet to stay alive very long and then it takes so long to get back into a game. I feel like I can't even get the practice in.
I find when I watch your VODs now I’m making decisions along with you even critiquing some(i.e leaving a whole heap of light ammo in that last game earlier on 🤣) … and then I go solo queue with randoms and I start doubting my decisions usually die tryna rush in to save them or like you did at the end there I’ll push with confidence I have numbers and then I just die 🤣🤣 and before that happens I usually would’ve thought of the smart play but never the confidence to transfer what I can see when I watch someone else play to what I do when I play 😅😅 is it just a time thing? Only been playing the game for a year?
I want to record my gameplay so i can look back at it and see my errors and possibly upload/send to others to review and critique me, How's your settings setup for OBS? I know its system based but even a good basis to start with would be nice.

In my case playing arenas helped a lot. You can focus on a 3vs3 and if your team isnt that good either, you can learn how to 1vs3 or 2vs3. The enemies here are mostly not soooo good, would say Pubs is like Diamond and this here like Bronze or Silver when it comes to the difficulty. Do the scout of action competiton the get better flicks and you will notice how much better you get. Its not only positions, back outs, movement.. its aim too or mostly aim. You cant win if you miss half the mag an the enemie only a third. Just play play play buddy :)
Man I regret not getting wattsons heirloom, I got octanes like a dumbass even though people told me not to and I shouldn’t have gotten it but it’s fine I can still have fun playing wattson without her heirloom :(

I like to do it with Lifeline. She can reset pretty easy with the drone, and her lack of mobility makes you focus on your movement and positioning.

Yes it's a really funny solo mode for me too, and when try to complete the Battle Pass challenges it adds a lot of fun and rewards :D
