ABOUT Me..
I am an Italian singer-songwriter and vocal coach, but first of all, I am a singer who loves gospel music. I am a creative person who wants to entertain through emotions of music that inspires me discovering artists and voices.
The reason why I opened this channel is absorbing good energy from the music and give it back to all of you.
I am not an ordinary teacher, I am “full of colors “in my mind, so you will see "colors" in my videos too.
I grew up since a newborn with Elvis Presley so I learned how important it is not only the voice but also the stage presence,
the charisma and the inner expressions of each individual artist.
In my videos, I will have a look at all these elements not only about how the larynx is working…
You may see me talk about emotional things rather than technical.
I start editing and upload my first video 22nd January with 26 subs only.
I going to share my personality without masks, with my personal opinion about performances not only about singing's terminology (detailed technical stuff will be properly dedicated to those who want to do singing lessons with me 👉🏽www.singerindu...).
I have involved in my channel my sense of humor and madness without fears of people’s judgments. I am an ironic player!
My mission is to find and fell music and, hopefully, be surprised by voices and different styles, trying to spread my inner joy to those who want to receive it.
Once I realized my viewers are from all around the world I thought I owe to you more .. I decide to Stef out from my comfort zone and risk starting English videos instead of Italian.

I love when people discover Pentatonix and all they can do is smile through the whole video! Please keep reacting to them...everything they do is amazing. They do a lot of covers to songs and their version normally always sounds better than the original. And if you think Scott (the blonde in the middle) had an amazing riff in this one, wait until you hear his riffs and runs in others songs, he is the king of them and is a beast! :)
Hey, watch "Ptx - The sound of silence", please!!! They all killed it especially Kirstin Maldonado! Her part is amazing! She sings in a lowest range and she hits some awesome high notes!

You're right, there is so much going on in these arrangements that it's easy to miss a bunch of incredible moments :-) If you want to hear one of their original songs that showcases Scott's riffs and Mitch's high range, their live Popspring performance of "Cracked" for MTV was fabulous. It was the first song of four and blows you away!
I don't get the people complaining about Avi quitting. Avi is doing great stuff on his own now! And Matt is awesome. They sound great

They did other Evolution videos although they were years ago, but were just as amazing: Daft Punk (Grammy winner), Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Music. Older videos have their original bass, Avi Kaplan, who is an amazing bass and musician, Scott is the master of riffs and runs, the beatboxer, Kevin, can sing, beatbox and plays the cello, sometimes simultaneously in one song: see Radioactive, Perfect, Say Something, or his original solo performance, Renegade. PTX's most beloved and viewed videos worldwide are Hallelujah and Imagine. But they sing all genre's, not just Pop, even Country: see Jolene w/ Dolly Parton (won a Grammy)rapping (see: Problem, and Can't Hold Us ). Their Christmas music is untouchable: Mary Did you Know, Little Drummer Boy, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (also Grammy winner) The First Noel, Where Are You Christmas, and then there are their Originals: Sing, Cracked, That's Christmas to Me. 8 years of incredible music out there, enjoy!

I love how you get into these Pentatonix videos when your watching them. So FUN!! 🥰
lol. A lot of potential.... They only have 3 Grammies and were the number two world wide selling group last year. That being said, just wait until their 40th album. Sean, from "Boyz to Men" said he is in Awe of PTX. He was one of the judges on "The Sing off" that they won 8 years ago. They just keep improving their particular talents. Scott is the Master Riff-runner! Peace, Love and Light Lucia!
Kirsten, Scott, and Mitch (top row) sang together since before high school. You can tell that they've been harmonizing together for a very long time. They can sing/adjust and listen to everyone else at the same time. Not easy, especially when there's only one person per part (unlike, say, a choir). If you want to see/hear them when they were babies (19) on the show The Sing-Off from 2011. Incredible!! Thank you for doing Pentatonix!!!!!! Try Superfruit too. That's Scott and Mitch alone. They're super talented and super funny!! Please check them out more!!! Love ya! Thank you for this!
More to come with PTX will not stop here even my views are lowest than usual with them it's fine. I am goin straight on my road looking for talents who deserve to be heard and discovered!! I almost forget about them in the past. Glad I find them again through suggestions on my small channel!!

Lucia Sinatra Hi Lucia. I’m Kym. I live in south Florida, USA, just north of Miami in a city called Fort Lauderdale. How about you? Have you always been a voice teacher/vocal coach? (You are way cooler than my voice teacher when I was a kid! 😘)
Ok, here I go with the introductions to PTX :D. I recommend using headphones when listening to them for the full effect if you own them.
The girl: Kirstin Maldonado (or Kirstie) is a mezzo and she's from Texas (she's latina though). Out of the three vocalists she's probably the one who has the least solos in general, especially for a whole song, but I think there's gonna be more now that she gained a lot more confidence and strenghtened her voice when she was on Broadway. To appreciate her I recommend listening to Say Something where she sings solo or Come Along where the color of her voice just shines in her parts. Or Sound of Silence where she just slays as well :).
The blond guy: Scott Hoying (also known as the king of riffs and runs) is a baritone (and occasional bass) and is also from Texas. The riff you caught, that's his signature thing. He's known for the incredible control he has over his riffs and runs and he sneaks them in when it's appropriate. I love that he doesn't overdo it and he's perfectly capable of holding back :). He's the one who got the group together and especially at the beginning was viewed as the frontman of the group and sang most of the solos. To appreciate him I would recommend The Sound of Silence (he sings in his bass there), Havana (that one is so freaking smooth), Perfect or New Rules/Are You That Somebody mashup.
The guy with the high voice: Mitch Grassi (or Queen :D) is a tenor with a vocal range that allows him to sing counter tenor parts, which he does very often. He's known for the incredible control he has over his voice and the way he can smoothly transition from chest to mix to head voice. He changes his looks pretty often, but you always recognize him by his voice :D. He has a lot of solos, so there's enough to choose from, but I'd recommend Gold (where he sings parts that the original singer had to mix), Hallelujah (showcases the smooth transition), Bohemian Rhapsody (for the guitar solo :D) or Love Again (their original song where he has this really cool club tone).
The bass singer: Matt Sallee is the newest addition to the group and the only one who isn't there from the beginning. He filled in the spot after Avi Kaplan who you might see in their earlier videos if you watch them. He is a baritone singer, but has a pretty low range. After Avi, who was a true bass, Matt was an adjustment for a lot of fans, because the group has a bit of a different sound with him, but I think he's been largely accepted now not only for his singing skills (which are amazing), but also for his personality and the energy that he brings to the group. I personaly fell in love with him in Havana, where everyone else was making these seductive glances to the camera and only Matt was there grinning like "I can't believe I'm here, I'm so happy" :D. The Sound of Silence is really good to hear his baritone voice and the beautiful color that he has in it.
The beatboxer: Kevin "KO" Olusola is multitalented human drumset who is not only one of the best beatboxers in the world, but also plays cello, speaks several languages and occasionally sings. And probably does a lot more things, it might be easier to name things he can't do :D. If you want to hear him sing, he has his own channel where he showcases a lot of his skills. In PTX he sings in Imagine or in Mary Did You Know, both of which are definitelly videos that are worth watching. He also raps in Sing, which is their original song.
Scott, Mitch and Kirstie were friends in high school and started doing acapella arrangements together then. Kirstie and Scott then graduated and started colleges, but Scott wanted to audition for The Sing-Off (a tv singing competition for acapella groups), so he called Kirstie and Mitch. Mitch missed his high school graduation because of the audition. They needed at least five people to qualify, so Scott invited Avi, who was recommended to him by a friend. Scott also found Kevin through his RUclips covers. And the rest is history.
They are actually pretty big. They won three Grammys so far and sold a lot of albums. They also tour all the time and are going on a world tour right now that is supposed to be the biggest one yet. They are pretty well known on RUclips as this was the platform that largely got them where they are now.
Scott and Mitch also did their own YT channel called Superfruit where they did a lot of comedy and also music (Hip Hop Goes Broadway and Frozen for example are incredible examples of those two things put together :D - especially the bloopers at the end are gold). They have an original album out as Superfruit and it's fantastic (Imaginary Parties, Guy.exe, Hurry Up, Deny U and Goodbye from Lonely are my personal favorites). Sadly, as they are now too busy with other projects (Scott got together an all-girl acappella group called Citizen Queen and is now working with some kids for another one :D. And Mitch is working on a solo album, which is very exciting) this channel is now mostly inactive (they did a cover of The Promise about two month ago, but not much in the months before and nothing after so far). It's still a blast to go back and watch the older videos.
So sorry for this :D. I love this group and I get excited. I love your reactions and hope to see some more for PTX or Superfruit or Kevin in the future :).

Lucia, I love your reaction and comments. I am also a vocal coach and have been a Pentaholic since 2011. I had the pleasure of seeing them live in 2014. I find I can listen to them over and over and always hear something I didn’t catch before. Also, they are all lovely people concerned about bringing positivity in the world. Songs and music are always the star with them. Have fun discovering them. I will be along for the ride.
I would love to see you react to another A Capella group called Home Free!! They cover country, pop, blues, and even a Broadway hit. They have 4 lead singers. (They're all that good) Their original songs lean to the country side and they are awesome! The Bass will blow your socks off! The Baritone also doubles as a Bass, and his voice is as smooth as glass.

I don’t know if anyone has said this yet, but the whole back row- Kirstie, Scott, and Mitch (high singer currently sporting a mullet- he changes his hair all the time :)
Anyways, those 3 members grew up together in choir/theatre since junior high- they all grew up in Arlington, TX. They’ve known each other a long time! The bassist changed last year. Originally, it was Avi Kaplan, now it’s Matt Sailee (sp?) who I think is equally as fantastic, just a diff vibe. Go see them on tour, if you can!
