- Seemingly out of nowhere, Baylor legend and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III tweeted out an impassioned defense of Bears coach Dave Aranda, saying "Aranda has my full support." Was there enough clamoring for his job after the Colorado loss?

If you're gonna mention Mike Singletary with RGIII, you should include Doak Field. Doak outplayed Singletary in the 1979 Peach Bowl against Clemson. He called the defensive plays!! Singletary was too busy on the field to call plays!! Doak should've been Co-MVP with Mellontree. I'm not taking anything away from Singletary at all! Let's just spread the Green & Gold Glory. Sawyer just so happens to be doing a very good job, as the backup QB (as he should) stepping in for Dequan. Not a lot of teams have that luxury in the backup QB!
Baylor already has 12 sacks on defense. Last year Baylor had 18 sacks in 12 games. I have a good feeling that Baylor will get more sacks than all of last year. The question is how many more.
Cam, RG3 statements wasn’t about the coach it is directed at the players that they need to step up! Purely directed at the players from one of the greatest Baylor player!

I think RG3's comment was pointing out that the loss wasn't totally Aranda's and the game was the player's game to win or lose. In a handful of plays it was individual's mistakes that prevented us from clinching the win. I don't see how that blame falls on Coach. The players were put in position to succeed and showed that they were human. It happens. I'm still in Head Coach Dave Aranda's corner.

Since the beginning of the 2023 season, there have been constant suggestions from you and commenters to your podcast that replacing Dave Aranda would solve all of the problems with Baylor football. Do you think that might have caused the uproar today? RGIII knows of what he speaks! Aranda is a good man and a great coach. Take his advise and lower the rethoric!

Would he be interested in being a QB coach? To keep these players and transfers, a program must refine the skills necessary to take these “kids” to the next level. They will be willing to stay in order to develop to the next level. These players want to “grow” in their skill. Saban said this on last week’s CollegeDay
Sawyer is staying calm in the pocket and making good decisions. The ball should have been in his hands more in the 4th quarter. And he should continue to be the starter.
I think as a baylor fan after the heartbreak you probably tuned out all the podcast and news regarding the loss. But as someone who is not a Baylor fan, everytime the loss was talked about everywhere i went they called for Dave Aranda to lose his job. It's been a very blown up thing Nationally because of the attention Colorado gets.

How do you compare when they leave one QB open to get hit in the back, but the other QB they cover and protect. Look at the games each QB has played this far. YOU'LL see a difference in QB coverage.🤔🤔🤔🤔
Finn is not a Big 12 starter; it is obvious to anyone who has been around football. Practice vs game is a reality, and sometimes coaches put way too much stock in potential they see in practice.
Sawyer has been here they know sawyer . They saw sawyer vs Finn and Finn beat him out this summer . They’re probably still riding on how good Finn has looked in practice/ scrims

Once Dequan is well, he plays the quarterback position he he won. This is a team game, no matter WHO THE QB IS.
