Guys, I have been using Photo Ai for a while now, and I have been blown away by how goo d it is. How different is Gigapixel to the upres function in Photo Ai? Is it worth having both plugins? I mainly work with Photoshop.
How long does it take to upscale a 2-hour HD or FHD video to 4K 60 FPS with CPU configuration AMD ryzen 3700x 8 core 16 threads and VGA RTX 4070 ti super 16gb?
The original AI
This program should have been maximally effective a decade ago. Never trust a company that depends upon annualised releases to do the best they can with any given release. Drip drip drip the improvements out, rather than serving the customers.
Progress is iterative
@@jonathanzkoch Nobody inventing the wheel today could get away with that excuse because the basic technology was mature long before we were even born, and nor can Topaz. Interface design is decades old. Even upscaling is decades old. Their upscaling technology is still bitterly disappointing in many use cases, and the focus primarily on figures is incredibly limiting.
Why would you expect a software company to release a product and forget about it? That's just crazy talk. Would you criticize Adobe for releasing ever more feature rich versions of Photoshop and compare it to version 1 released 34 years ago? Apart from advances in software development, with Ai being the obvious example, computer hardware continues to move forward, and software needs to be rewritten to leverage it. Anyway, you've trolled me so I guess you win. ☹
@@TrevorDennis100 There's an enormous difference between releasing an already feature-rich program such as Photoshop, then iterating upon that to add even more functions; and releasing a minimum viable product such as Gigapixel which has been out for years and which is STILL bare-bones.
Why would you consider a legitimate exchange of views "trolling?"
@@TrevorDennis100 That’s a troll who obviously is very slow with how tech works,/ai wasn't even as advanced years ago to do this thing.
We now have AI in multiple areas, music/chatgbt, and others.
Companies didn’t just all of a sudden start using AI this or last year; it was being developed.
I just found out last month music can now be 90% removed from music. This just now existed last year, yet I checked 2 years ago and before and only audacity and others could only somewhat mute the music and it would sound muffled the vocals, and the music still could be heard a lot.
