To me Maradona is the Goat but, CR7, I will say this, in terms of form /technique, he pretty much has honed almost perfect technique in all aspects of the attacking side of Football, and is without doubt the most versatile player I have seen. The only other matching that would be Pele for me, but I have not seen enough of Pele (before my time) to make that call, but from what I have seen Pele and CR7 (especially the first 6/7 year s at Real) played very much like modern day Pele. Pele probably had a better touch and a little more "spark"/unpredictability, and CR7 was probably a little better in the air, and I would at his peak more direct with his dribbling, but again like I say that's from the decent amount but not enough to really call it, its just how they shape up from my POV. I have never heard him compared to Pele, but I actually think they were very similar in attributes/skills/versatility
