The mini is more for 4:3 lovers not really for just power otherwise rp5 is a no brainer, all your takes are wonderful tho! ❤ Love to see different perspectives
@@jalene150 it's been almost 2 years. R1 needs to be pressed harder than L1 and the left stick is now only good for digital input. Other than that zero problems. Might replace the stick. Arkos
I am going to buy both mini and rp5 though. Mini one for n64-ps2 and rp5 for psp, android games and streaming. Of cource rp5 could do all that mini can do, but I am one of those who needs 4:3 screen for 4:3 games
My only gripe is, it has enough power for PS2 but should have goes with 4” screen at least seeing it has enough bezel space (not sure about the inside but supposedly capable).
ayyy metal slug. nice. also, this seems like a good upgrade to my 353m.... buuuuuuuuuut... its also fully functional still so I feel like I should get a rp5 instead xD
It's definitely not for me. Android, nope, i cant stand devices that require hours and hours of setup. Sub-4" screen, nope, that's not big enough, especially for PS2. Otherwise the hardware quality looks pretty sweet.

it's not really about being 4:3, because a 16:9 screen has no issue playing 4:3 content. It's about pocketability. rp5 is huge.
i've asked for this, i've been asking for a 4:3 OLED handheld for retro gaming for the last 4 years
I love how the screen lets you see more of the image at the top and bottom rather than it being chopped off like on regular screens
Waiting for the 5
The perfect replacement for my rg353m.
How did yours hold up? Still working fine? It was my first standalone emulation handheld

Nice, I would like to know more about Android's capabilities: native games, remote play, emulating Windows with Winlator, synchronizing saves...
You can always use syncthigns or foldersync maybe?
The PS2 works great mr AI. Maybe try turning your console into high performance mode
What is the name of the game at 13:35?
The bot scraped footage and put it together for this video.

Without GameCube why would I buy this? lol.
Sounds like the basement gamer
