And this applies to not just material things, but flaws that make you feel self conscious and little complaints you don't really need to have. It's a good little sentence that makes you remember to be grateful for where you are and what you have. You may not be the best or most fortunate, but you are never the worst or least fortunate. x
I love how you blot your lipstick with your hands and use it on your cheeks. I started doing that after I saw you do it, and I think I will keep doing it like that. Subtle color on the cheeks and doesn't take much time at all. Perfect!! ❤

People said they looked just as good before and after makeup? Liers! But its true of course, we are who we are. Personally I find people treat me better WITH makeup. So I apply makeup and dress to portray myself as close to the image I want to portray as possible. Its just being smart, really. If I dress lazily, look untidy, and dont brush my hair, people look at me with contempt, treat me as less than them, and treat me as if I was misfortuned. But If I dress tidy, brush my hair and put makeup on, people are much more respectful towards me, and treat me with less contempt. Makeup makes me look more healthy and less tired, also prettier, even though the change is only minimal. I look more feminine. So I find applying makeup is a smart thing to do.
