@tacorye the turning radius is extremely tight! I honestly don't feel the need for a zero turn with this lawn mower. It's really quiet. Sounds like a soft whoooo sound. Neighbor even mentioned how quiet it is to me just the other day. Excellent mower. Love it! PRORUN service is also fantastic! 💯🙏🏽🎙🙂
Ive had my Snapper electric lawn mower for 7+ years and still works the same as day 1.

That's because despite all the hate over electric stuff, well designed electric stuff has very little that can break or go wrong. An electric lawn mower would probably last until the frame rots away with only needing to keep it clean and changing out the batteries every so often. The motors might get heat damage if they get clogged with grass and there may be eventual water damage of the motors, but overall, not much to break or go wrong compared to a gas powered mower. Same with basic electric cars too. The expense of an electric car is usually the batteries and the death of an electric car is usually due to cost of replacing batteries.
Great video..I personally do have a battery powered, but like you mentioned our lawn is not that big.

Good evening Alan. First thank you for turning me onto that BBQ sauce. I pit smoke 3-4 Boston Butts every few months for family gatherings and will be getting some to try. My question. I'm 6'3". Not sure of your height but just wanted your opinion if this mower will work at my height? Thank you.
Good Morning @ryansmith7062. So glad to meet you! Yes, Chef G's BBQ Sauce is amazing! 😋So sorry for the delay in response. I actually had to check into this. Even sliding the seat all the way back I unfortunately would only recommend it at 6'3" if you're ok with being cramped and uncomfortable.
The seat doesn't go back far and you're Blessed with Tom Brady type height! It's one outstanding mower though! Please let me know if you need assistance in any other way! 💯🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙂
A true comparison should include CORDED mowers as well. They are truly maintenance free, except occasionally sharpening the blade. Ive been using a Black & Decker MM575 for 20 years.

My mower came damaged. Rear wheels/tires shredded. Contacted PRORUN. Yeah, I will be getting replacement parts, but now its a DIY project. Also put together time, unboxing, breaking down packaging material for garbage pickup...it isn't 35 minutes. Seat securing to frame not easy. Batteries not fully charged. Also contacted Amazon from whom I purchased the mower. They lowered the price from only 5 days ago by 13%. I asked for a price adjustment. See how that goes. So far not good and I haven't even cut a blade of grass yet.
@andrewtee7137 so sorry you've been having all these issues with the PRM48V38. I reached out to PRORUN to discuss some of your issues. Awaiting a response. As for the setup time, for me it was just as the video stated. Even did this while filming which definitely slows your production speed down. Not going to lie. I was in the zone! If it took me 15-20 minutes and you 35 minutes that's really no big deal. Maybe, I'm not giving myself enough credit and I'm he! The 2024 version of Bob Villa! Lol!
In all fairness, I purchased my PRM48V38 from Lowes directly. I filmed and took photos of the delivery Men. Everything was perfect! Delivery men were mad cool too! This was edited out of the video in order to shorten it up.

PRORUN service is excellent. It may be more intrusive and a rough start, but how it finishes is most important. I cut my grass the other day and it came out beautiful! Once everything gets sorted out. You will too. Definitely charge the batteries up. In fact, I started using it right after assembly. No immediate charge needed. My videos are true to form. Don't worry PRORUN got you covered. I will keep you in the loop if I hear anything about your case. Please let me know too. 💯🙏🏽🎙🙂

My question is we are moving to a new house with .5 acre of lawn. Would a push/self-propelled mower be fine or should I consider one of the pricey riding models?
@1a-1z9xp that's a great question. That's really a preference choice. You can do it with a self-propelled but you will be putting in a quite a bit of work. This riding mower will make life a whole lot easier! 💯🙏🏽🎙🙂
Did you see any reel mowers at GIE? I haven’t seen anyone featuring reel mowers.

Especially with the mulch kit installed, I have the best looking yard now and so much easier! Very efficient and fast! The staff at PRORUN is awesome too! I made a wonderful choice and highly recommend it!
@tacorye i had so many issues with the i just said forget it lol. however it is a pretty good mower. i have a zero lot on corner so some spots i back up instead of turn around but it has the tighest turn radius you can have without going the zero turn route. overall,id say its pretty good and its a fair sized deck at 38"
@@lildell04 so sorry to hear you have been having all these issues. Yes the turn radius is very tight! No need for a zero turn in my opinion. Lol. The PRORUN is too expensive to just forget it. Please let me know all the exact issues your having with the mower.

My MTD 20 gas mower is over 25 years old. and still works just fine.

I have 2 cycle lawn boys. A 1990 F series engine one. And a 2001 Duraforce. Great mowers. No oil changes, ever! Wouldn’t trade them for any batter or 4 cycle mower.

@coffeehawk. It's rear wheel drive with the 2 wheels in the rear moving the unit. Think of it like a rear-wheel-drive car. The exact same principle. The two rear wheels power the unit. The front who are for steering. 💯🙏🏽🎙🙂
@@AlanAlford That's the point, a car has a differential, some of which allow both rear tires to be driven. On mowers it can very. either the motor drives one rear wheel ONLY, or there is a differential or clutch pack allowing the motor to drive both rear wheels. This is helpful for slippery conditions or hills, which some potential buyers need to know. BTW, that notwithstanding it does seem like a mower built for what people need. I'm interested in it.
@@coffeehawk it's an awesome lawnmower! I sharpened the blades for the first time the other day. It cut the grass beautifully! It's rear wheel drive only. No way to switch from front or rear. No 4 -wheel drive option either.

My gawd that beeper is annoying af. Sounds like a smoke alarm going off. Please tell me it doesn't make that noise with the lights on when moving.
Lol!!! @MmmHuggles. No, it only beeps like that when you get off the mower and the key in the on position (lights on or off) but the mower is ready to run. Saves your battery from draining.
It also beeps like that when you're backing up with the blades on or off. These are both actually very good safety warnings. This mower is fast so if you back up and someone is behind you, they will be alerted.
