To have lots of fans on-site creates massive pressure, and Shasha is quite comfortable with it. She is focused, courageous, and willing to take risks at critical moments. She deserves this championship. Manyu is a fantastic player and she is able to beat all foreign players. We will see them both play at the Olympics!

Not really, WMY has a lot of Chinese fans…..however, SYS is phenomenal, she is the most popular athlete, or she has the biggest fans clubs in China among all the sport athletes
The difference between Sun and Wang is Sun is tactically BETTER. She won most of her serves. That's her deadly weapon. If Sun develops an unbeatable backhand, that's it. We'll witness a ZYN version 2 but a smily one.
personally Wang plays a bit closer to ZYN with the parry/redirect pace moreso than Sun. Sun has greater ability to generate killer shots but can be unstable under pressure and not as strong defensively.

Due SYS comeback, WMY seemed to only play BH 2 BH rallies, where I think SYS has the slight advantage because she plays closer to the table and plays off the bounce more. Seems like. WMY could have varies the rallies more and also played to SYS FH.

This is almost an unfair game as you can observed every time SYS score a point, the whole stadium erupts, likewise for Japanese players against Chinese players, if chinese losing their support base globally, think it could a game changer for other countries elite players!
