Food Supply Chain and How it Impacts Local Butchers

  • We recently had a question in regard to food regulation and how it impacts the supply chain. There was a massive disruption in the market last year (2020) that saw many local butchers with backlogs up to 18 months long. We go over why this happened and what can be done to prevent it from happening again in the future.

    Excellent overview on the regulatory breakdown on these large food companies vs small butchers! Hopefully we can continue to support these small butchers. Thanks for the quality content.

      Thank you for watching and we are glad you enjoyed it! I think last year really helped shine a light on how valuable local butchers and locally sourced food is in general. One of the many lessons learned in 2020.
