you senior year story is insanely relatable. im 16 and in a very very simular situation. been trading since a freshman and i keep making the same mistake again and again. and i 110% understand its all my fault. for me its a slow journey slowly becoming better but ive definitely improved so much. i havent yet blown an account just consistent loosing over the long term because of my own phycology. i just today went all in in just arriving and being patient, disaplined, and focused. i have strict critiria that must be met or else i dont trade. if it doesnt play out i just move on with my day. i would say for me personally watching trades is my biggest issue. my trades play out again and again and im slowly gonna improve. so inspriational man, keep going. i plan to be in this situation soon, this is my god given purpose. hence the name lol.

I gotta thank you, I’ve been off social media for the last month completely focused on building good habits and having more green days than red days (following my plan and rules is a green day whether I lose money or not) I have been taking significantly less losses and taking less trades and I’m starting to see the flip in me as a trader. when i started this video i thought I wouldnt make it to 20 minutes but fucking hell this resonated so much with me that the 40 minutes felt like 10 minutes. Im grateful for this and the biggest problem i face is being too attached to the money instead of submitting to the process and not giving myself timelines. Happy to have found your channel. I've had some trading success, but overall, I've been battling trading psychology. I'm way too hard on myself and I think that I've poisoned the well with negativity. Those around me simply can't help, as they've never been there and those I know that have, we're just so different, so they don't understand what I'm wrestling with. I've been following ICT for 1.5 years, but I've struggled implementing his 2022 model consistently. The problem isn't what I know, it's my impulsivity, hesitancy, fear of being wrong, etc...
This is real. After trading for 3 years, I only realized halfway through this year that I was under this hypnosis of the allure of trading. I was in love with the idea of being a successful trader and the type of life I thought it would give me. I realized, the hard way unfortunately, that trading isn't supposed to be this exciting rollercoaster; it's not supposed to become my self-image; I'm not supposed to spend hours each day 'working' on it or on the charts constantly. I've now realized, through your mentorship, to submit to the time and ENJOY the journey. Be excited to show up & learn; enjoy making mistakes; enjoy having those small successes; enjoy seeing my improvement. I think I was the 5k like! That was a pretty sweet visual. I’ve thought about this a lot. I have always sought validation from others my whole life, but I don’t know if I’ve ever asked myself why. This video made me think deeper about it. I think it was because I was never popular in high school. And I wanted to see what that was like. And even my high school years I hung out with the cool kids but felt like an outsider in the group. I went to a bunch of festivals in my 20’s and had confidence but also felt in some environments like I was inadequate or not as cool as others. And I’ve had that insecurity in some form maybe forever. And that’s something I need to fully resolve so it doesn’t hold me back.

I’ve thought about this a lot. I have always sought validation from others my whole life, but I don’t know if I’ve ever asked myself why. This video made me think deeper about it. I think it was because I was never popular in high school. And I wanted to see what that was like. And even my high school years I hung out with the cool kids but felt like an outsider in the group. I went to a bunch of festivals in my 20’s and had confidence but also felt in some environments like I was inadequate or not as cool as others. And I’ve had that insecurity in some form maybe forever. And that’s something I need to fully resolve so it doesn’t hold me back.

Jeez this makes me realize that I really am getting older. I've been listening while I kill time on some video games, and the examples I keep hearing are things I haven't thought of in a decade. I never realized how many young people are in the space until you hear people talk about their perspectives; and how those used to be the similar things I was concerned with in my 20's.
