Memory - Cats | Live Cover Performance

So, if you guys didn't know, I'm in one of my school's choirs. A few months ago, we were told we were gonna put on a show called Broadway Pop. The way this worked was that each choir performed one song from a musical (not necessarily from Broadway) and some solos/duets/ensembles get to perform in between as well. I saw an opportunity so I auditioned for one of the solo slots and got in! (hence the existence of this video) The night was very fun and I got to see all the great talented people who performed and helped behind the scenes. There will probably be a video uploaded to RUclips from my school's official choir RUclips channel which I'll link in this description when it comes out.

My costume was very last minute because I'm a chronic procrastinator. I scavenged clothing items that I had and some things my dad had and got a few ideas from my friends came up with this look you see in the video.
My friends Iz Acopan and Anna Rhodes helped me with my makeup which I am very grateful for. This was the very first time I've had makeup on my face (excluding facepaints) and I think it was an awesome first experience! Also, shout out to Marcus Schollard for being a great MC!
You'll probably hear that I get off beat at the end and that was because we couldn't get earpieces and on stage, it was relatively hard to hear the music, especially when you're belting out and all you can hear is yourself.

It would've been so amazing if you could! Maybe you can try for a solo in the men's choir when u get the chance.
