I lived close to where are fishing years ago. We used use a large orange float with 3 metre trace over reef ground. You don,t hook the bottom. The fish will rise for the bait. Had the float between 2 spilt shots. . Covers for your reels would be good, keep the dust out. Great video mate thanks

Thanks for the comments malcom, i have been thinking of using floats, defiantly the way forward.
