I think there's another layer of psychology here--when people have been told repeatedly that they're ugly, they usually will find it very difficult to improve themselves physically.
It sounds more like she needs some therapy and to find a helpful hobby that will help her learn how to love herself.
@@snipingway Absolutely. That said those that catfish usually CAN improve themselves on a physical level. All the therapy in the world won’t help if you look in the mirror and see you need to loose weight. If one wants to be seen differently, especially for women, that’s easy. Makeup and a new look. Get healthy. Mentally AND physically. Simply not working on themselves outside and inside, just catfishing people is going to make them feel WORSE about themselves.

I have a feeling that if the person in the pictures was a catfish more attractive than the pictures, that, “I just can’t get over the lies,” would be out the window.
It's more than a feeling lol, it's been proven. When the catfish turns out to still be attractive they're usually willing to give it a go. Like that one guy who got catfished by his sister but initially she played it off with saying another friend was behind it and he told the friend essentially that she's beautiful and would've been better off using her own pictures because she's hotter than the fake profile lol

The Dante episode is so sad. Although, it was wrong to use someone else’s pictures. But I can see he is truely sorry and upset. Most catfishes just do it for the fun of it.. but Dante use other pictures to just hide his pain he feels for himself. ☹️He is really struggling… I hope that he is doing okay or at least trying to find peace happiness for himself. I do feel bad for the girl he did it too.. but I love how nev and Jamie could give a bit of sympathy.

I would 100% date Dante. There's nothing wrong with the way he looks. He needs a strong support system around him to lift him up. Dante, if you're reading this, never ever put your eyes to the floor. Hold your head high. There is nothing wrong with you. Yeah, you lied, but out of fear of rejection, not out of malice or greed. Forgivable. I hope she looked past it and gave him another chance.
