I never realised how good of hosts these 2 guys were until this episode. With all the different references and descriptions, I felt like I was there myself embarking on the dining experience. That’s great talent. So effortless as well.

this is the only buzzfeed channel worth watching IN FACT Worth It needs to seperate themselves from buzzfeed. Having to go into the buzzfeed channel to find the worth it videos is a pain and nothing on buzzfeed is interesting to me other than worth it.

I ate at Providence 3 weeks ago. We ordered the seasonal menu and I assure you we were all full before the main dishes arrived! If you combine the total number of things you eat, it’s about 30 small portions of food, and mind you all I had was a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast before going here for dinner! Yes I indeed paid a hefty price ($1000 for 3 people) but it was an experience and exquisite. There is no need for anyone to fill themselves up with fast food afterwords. Anyone should try a tasting menu for a special occasion and enjoy the experience.
What kind of swine would follow up such a luxurious tasting experience with fast food??? LOL

aside from the tiny portions, this was one of the greatest things i've ever seen...
the ideas fine dining chefs come up with are fascinating to me.

The head chef and owner seemed super cool also for a place like this
it is a tasting menu, the portions are small to let you try different dishes and see the maximum quality of the restaurant in different areas
If they gave you full sized meals, it wouldn't be a tasting. Also, the point is to try many different dishes and not get too full, and to not allow your palate to beccome overwhelmed.

It's not pretentious. That chef is very welcoming. Pretentiousness is an attitude of putting on airs which is unjustified.

To the people complaining if they'll be filled or not the purpose of these meals is not to get you filled its to experience these complex flavors
But no one drops 200$ on a '7 course meal' for flavor experiences; they do it when they're hungry and want good food. No one would do that and then want/need to run out right after to get more food. You can 'experience complex flavors' while eating a normal sized meal lmao.
