  • Finished (almost) Snapper 26083S. This upload has corrected sound. I'm not sure why things sound differently on RUclips than they do on my computer, but I tried to fix low volume, and other issues.

What is the attachment for the air hose that sprays the cleaner?

@@stanleygibson1257 It's called an Engine Cleaner. It came from Harbor Freight, about 10 bucks. It works well on loosened oil and grease, not so much on caked on grease. That takes pre-treatment with some strong degreaser, sometimes several applications.

That ole snapper looks and runs great. Nice job. Mines an 86’ yours looks to be even earlier.

@@JohnnieBravo1 It's a early Series 3 , I worked AT the factory from 1972 till 2015 when B&S closed down the plant. I was in the QC department & handled EVERY part & blueprint dealing with the Snapper Rear Engine Rider and others

"Watch Jim Jackson" LOL , misinformation right there especially with the differential & chain case rebuilds, many of us who worked directly with the rear engine rider AT the factory have sent him actual Snapper documentation about many things & he ignores such same with emails also. DON'T I REPEAT DON'T do what he tells others about removing end play in the assemblies.
