The clue here is in the lyrics: "Sick Boi, Sick Boi. Bitten by a tick boy." He has Lyme disease. This video helps illustrate the moment he was misdiagnosed.
The mockery of Ren is to tell he had an actual "physical disease" but was ignored for years by the medical complex and told he was only sick because of his mind. Given drugs and treatment to further f*ck him up, meanwhile the "Lymes diseases" was running rampant and destroying his body and his brain. Turned into full blown autoimmune disease, POTS and other issues on top of eating away at his brain and losing sections causing memory loss. The brain neuropathy was so severe and painful he wanted death. Stem cell transplants saved his life but he still has issues he is still treating at the Calgary, Canada medical center today.

Becausethe medics couldn’t find a physical cause, they passed Ren off to mental health industry.
Sick boi, sick boi, bitten by a tick boi. This is the perfect expression of Ren’s built up frustrations from being mistreated for 7+ years, being given the wrong meds that just made him feel worse, and even being told it was all in his head. All the while Lyme disease was wrecking havoc on his body, almost killing him and leaving him with permanent damage.
I think a perfect follow up to this is one of my personal favourites: Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and stunning.
Ren has had many physical and mental symptoms due to undiagnosed Lyme disease which was alliwed to run rampant in his body while he was given psych meds and told it was all in his head. 14 years later he is victim of several serious autoimmune conditions and brain damage and constant pain.

Ren went years misdiagnosed with depression bi polar chronic fatigue syndrome he had recording deal in 2010 with Sony why working on his album he got Sick and couldn't finish it so they parted ways he move back to Wales he would become bedridden for up 23 hours a day the meds they had him on caused him to have psychosis he got PTSD he had chronic pain all over his body and running a fever he was really underweight it would take years before he would get right diagnosis he has Lyme disease he went so long misdiagnosed that he has Brain damage Organ damage Joint damage he has had 2 stem cell transplants done he in Canada right now getting treatment he has to have IV 5 days a week they put this thing on his brain to help open path ways in his brain he has to take 2 hand full of meds 2 times a day he can only eat 2 kinds of beef and few Vegetables because the autoimmune causes his body to have allergic reaction to just about everything he eats he also has ADHD too Ren play guitar bass drum Piano produces mixes his own beats beatboxes sings and can rap
I dig what you’re saying, but record companies started after my Grandparents were born, and are now struggling with a world where fewer folk biy physical product, and artists like Ren bypass them

The label cares not a jot for what the artist puts out, as long as it’s sells. They push women towards sex, which always sells and rappers towards lyrics that’ll upset the parents of middle class white yanks. C’est la vie.
