Truckers and Bikers. My 4 year old son was scared of bikers so he walked up to a group and he told them that he was scared of them but he likes their loud bikes. They all laughed and put him up on their bikes and took pictures with him. He faced his fear that day and made a wonderful memory.

Now, i am the next generation. I have children and I watch what is happening in Canada. While I personally don’t fly the flag or even like when people do (though I support their right to) understand that it’s not always (actually rarely is) done as a racial statement, except by a few fringe idiots who still hold antiquated beliefs.
The civil war was about states rights (yes, slavery was one of them) and was the pro-tyranny democrats of the south vs. the pro-freedom northern Republicans (well, technically is the Lincoln’s Whig Party, but that became the GOP). It is (and always has been) democrats who care about race.
The south has become more republican as it’s become less racist. The people flying that flag are simply holding an incomplete understanding of the history and believe it to be a symbol of states rights/aversion to the tyranny of the federal government (and they’re not wrong. Slavery was a human rights issue, though many believed it to be a states rights issue). Objectively, the federal government WAS forcing their agenda down the throats of the states, though we all look past it because we agree with the agenda.
.. but we must be careful about what authority we grant to the federal government simply because we agree with the agenda. Sooner or later powers changes hands and the next person may have a different agenda and once you’ve granted them the power to force the states to bend to their will, you never ever get it back.
So please, do yourself a favor and read a couple history books. You’re embarrassing yourself.

It’s -25 Celsius today, feels like -35C with the wind chill. Our people are fed the F up with this crap and we will endure the ridiculous cold to fight. Stood on a highway overpass Thursday waiting for the convoy … side by side with people of all walks of life. It raised our spirits like nothing else in the last two years of Canadians being quiet…I hope this goes global … finally Canadians are raising their voices….

These Truckers and their tag alongs are a very small minority of fringe kook nut jobs with no sense in their heads. They are parasites in our country. They have to be vaccinated to enter the US as enforced by the US anyway. These aren't the truckers stocking the grocery stores. The vast majority of truckers are working to deliver products and not driving around acting like spoilt children. The protesting truckers are a very small percentage of truckers. Check out the caravan and you'll notice the vast majority of people are in cars and pickup trucks.

The truckers that are working now delivering and shipping, I thank most sincerely and they are very necessary and right, just as the protesting is very necessary and right.
I only wish the public could see the bigger and true picture of the protest and the ramifications of vaccine mandates for all, and it will be for all. No more informed consent, our basic human right to choose what is put in our bodies and the right to be fully informed of what it is.
I am vaccinated and believe in vaccines, but, that is not what this is about.
Incidentally, a spoiled child would not choose to stand outside in minus -25c weather. They'd probably be inside where they have their comforts and judging the vaccine mandate protests.
